Volume 293
Thank you Joyce!
1. ASAP typically stands for 'as soon as possible'. What else could it stand for in your life right now?
A Significant Annoyance Persists.....and I wish it would fix itself ASAP!

2. Are you the last person to speak up in a group or the first to have an idea? Why do you suppose that is? Is it a good thing or no?
I'm not really sure but years ago I would have been last and now if I have something to say I'm not afraid to speak.

3. What do you remember best about being 12?
I remember very little :(

4. January 18th is National Winnie the Pooh Day. Which character do you relate to the most, and why? If you're stumped go here for inspiration.
5. What's an app you use that helps simplify or make life easier for you in some way?
The Run Pee app is really cool. It will tell you a good time to run to the restroom if you have to go! You can set a timer when the movie starts and it will vibrate at pee times.
Also it will tell you if you should wait during the credits for something to come at the end of the movie.

6. San Francisco (CA), San Diego (CA), San Juan (PR) San Antonio (TX) Sanibel (FL)...you have an all expenses paid long weekend to one of these destinations. Which one do you choose and why?
I've been to three of these destinations and actually lived in San Diego for 9 months and I'm going to pick San Diego because I love it so much.
7. Share with us a song that makes you feel nostalgic? For what?
What popped into my head was Barry Manilow's "I Can't Smile Without You." I'm thinking it is because my mom just had a birthday and she loved that song. She has been gone almost 36 years. Also "Smile" is my word for this year!
8. Insert your own random thought here.
My mother in law has a birthday tomorrow.....Happy Birthday Mom!

Oh my goodness, a pee-app?? What will they think of next? Mind you, I couldn't use it if I wanted to, since I have a phone that will make me phone people (imagine that) and text and nothing else!
Happy early birthday to your MIL! I like that run pee app; I'll have to check it out. I agree, I too would go to San Diego, but only since I still have friends and family there. Otherwise, I might pick another city to explore :)
betty
the run pee is great. if I went to movies I would miss a lot. the thing is my pee pee want wait on a timer. I have to go when I have to go.. but that is a great app. what will they think of next.
I don't remember very much of child hood but I have several strong memories of age 12.. in the same year, I got my first kiss from a boy and still used red clay mixed with water to cut out cookies and bake in the sun, it made them into rocks. also my brother tormented me with crawdads from the creek we lived on, my brother and I sneaked off to the creek swimming hole, got a spanking for that. I stepped on a nail and the board was stuck to my foot, had to send 8 year old brother home to bring mother to me because I could not walk. for some reason age 12 I have tons of memories but not much before that.
This was fun to read. I enjoyed your "ASAP" in particular!
Golly...there's an app for everything. 😌 Happy Birthday this week to your mother-in-law and your son!
I am more quiet in a group - I have to work on that - glad you learned to speak up - I do better in smaller groups myself. I don't remember age 12 either. And with Winnie the Pooh - i have always had a hard time with that - I see all of them in me - maybe I have multiple personalities Sandie!
That run pee app sounds funny. We don't go to movies anymore, primarily for that reason. We wait for the DVD and then buy it. That way we can stop it for our own intermission. Have a great week.
Now I've heard everything. We seldom go to movies, but I don't drink anything while there so I don't have to run out and miss out on something.
Wow, they really do have an app for everything! That Barry Manilow songis a great one, you can't help but sing along when you hear it :)
LOL...a pee app! That is hysterical and something I could surely use. Thanks for sharing, I must check this out. I imagine if it catches on we will suddenly see half the theater get up all at the same, rush to the exit, and dash down the hallway. The ladies room will be overflowing with women in a hurry to get back to their seats. Pee fast ladies! So funny! Have a great week.
Cheers!

Happy birthday to your mother-in-law...or mother-in-love as one of my friends says. :)
I think the Pee app is funny! I am always in the bathroom. Getting startled is one thing that sends me to the bathroom. Having my phone buzz me when I wasn't expecting it (which I wouldn't be because I would have forgotten that I had the app!), would startle me and there I'd be. It's just easier to watch movies at home. Home has a pause button. :)
I'm sorry you're dealing with some persistent annoyances, too. I hope they stop very soon.
Have a blessed evening!
What a neat app! Somebody's thought of everything. I always have to 'go' during the middle of a movie, but am afraid I'll miss something good :)
I hope your "significant annoyance" will fix itself, soon...

I was the same way years ago I would have been the last to say anything but now speak my mind.
Barry was a blast from the past
I love San Diego, but since I have family in the SF area, I guess I'd pick that one.
Are you serious???? A pee-app? Snorting in my wine over here!
I LOVE Barry Manilow. Heck, I smile just remembering that cute song.
Liked your ASAP! and speaking of P, a Pee App? What next! LOL I hope your MIL has a nice birthday. It's so fun to read all these Hodgepodge answers. xo
I love that song and I love to hear Barry Manilow sing. I got to see him in concert many years ago. The Oee app thing cracks me up.
I rarely go to movies. What i need is an app that will tell me all the closest restrooms in the cities. Mostly i look for all the Starbucks or McDonalds when i'm visiting a new place.
Happy Birthday to your mother n law!
San Diego is wonderful and would also be my pick. I lived in Imperial Beach and went to school in Coronado.
Haha I need a run pee app for my whole life, not just the movies.
I need to encourage my better half to install that app. He invariably has to leave at the most exciting times in a movie. But what will they think of next!!
The Run Pee app is funny, though very useful I suppose! lol I rarely watch movies but I did get Florence Foster Jenkins to see one night this week. I loved it and had no idea it was going to be a true story! I am a Barry manilow fan too.
Well, there it is. An app I've never heard of! LOL Hope that annoyance resolves itself soon!
