~ Beauty and the Beast ~
I went to see Disney's Beauty and the Beast (IMDb) yesterday. When I got out of the show this is what I said on Facebook:
"Well I was so excited to go to the show today I actually squealed my tires at a light...LOL!
I'M IN LOVE. Leave it to Disney to bring this story to life. It is fabulous. I teared up at every original song, my heart knew every word. No doubt I'm going to have to see it on the big screen again."
"An adaptation of the fairy tale about a monstrous-looking prince and a young woman who fall in love."
I still feel that way today. I can't stop the music from playing in my head. This movie was delightful.
I was concerned about how I would react to my very favorite character Lumiere (originally played by the late Jerry Orbach) and I am happy to say I fell in love all over again.
I didn't even know going in that he was played by Ewan McGregor.
Of course the whole cast was amazing. I enjoyed each character and was happy to see Josh Gad in the movie too.
Go to the show and fall in love all over again....

I think I am picking up just a slight bit of excitement and enthusiasm here today. LOL... it is good to enjoy and good for your health..
I am just glad you felt good enough to go out! And glad you liked the movie. sandie
Nothing like a feel good movie to brighten your day and make you squeal your tires...lol
So very happy that you enjoyed the movie so much. Good for you! xoxo
I'm woefully unfamiliar with the story ... but so delighted to 'hear' the excitement in your words!!!
Sounds like a great movie! I liked the animated version of it so many years ago. We probably won't see this, or see it down the line, but I truly would have enjoyed it if I had gotten the opportunity to see it (does that make sense?)
betty
I was worried too about the same thing with Lumiere!!! & loved the job Ewan did... until I saw an interview with him afterwards & he was just so rude about it all. Disrespectful really.
I have been wondering how this movie was as I have heard mixed reviews
But did you like it? Lol!
You certainly make me want to go see it. I saw the cartoon in the theatre when in came out, but I was a teenager then.
I've heard such great things about it! I will have to watch when it's on DVD, Caden has asked for a movie date on it :)
