1. What does/did Halloween look like at your house this year? Did you decorate? Pick pumpkins? Carve pumpkins? Expect trick or treaters? Wear a costume to a party or event? Make a costume? Feel glad you didn't have to come up with a costume? Cook a Halloween themed treat? Eat all the leftover candy?
Since I am doing this on Tuesday morning I am assuming that this is what happened. I will put some decorations outside. We did not get a pumpkin this year.
I expect about 100 kids at the door. I hand out candy from 6 pm to 9pm unless the candy runs out early.
I do not wear a costume and I do not attend costume parties. No Halloween themed meal and yes leftover candy will be eaten, mainly by Mark!

2. What are you waiting for? Elaborate
I guess that would be Adam and Gabby's wedding as far as something I'm looking forward to in November.
Otherwise I'm going to say that I am waiting to be me again. I have to say that I am feeling stronger. My anxiety and panic attacks seem to be less. Time to work on getting in shape!!
3. Do you wish you were friendlier, braver, more creative, more athletic, or something else? Explain.
3. Do you wish you were friendlier, braver, more creative, more athletic, or something else? Explain.
I have always wanted to be more athletic. I was very good at gym in grade school and high school. Then around puberty I started having some lung issues.
It got bad in my twenty's and lungs never get better. However I did pretty good up until my 40's. I am now classified with severe COPD.
I feel like I am friendly, brave when I have to be and also creative.
4. When it comes time to paint are you a do-it-yourselfer or do you hire someone? What was the last paint job completed at your house? What room most needs painting now? How do you feel about wallpaper?

I don't do any of that anymore but Mark is currently painting the rooms in the house. The last job completed were the front two guest rooms and hallway by those rooms. There are still 9 rooms to paint along with the hallways. We plan to put this house on the market in year from now.

I'm pretty sure that Monday was my last day of physical therapy. I see my doctor next week. Let's not forget that I have been going twice a week since May 12th with about 5 weeks off in between for different reasons or trips.
I have basically had muscle aches from my waist down to my ankle for two days after each therapy session. The weeks I was off I felt great! You would think by now that my muscles and body would have been use to the workouts but obviously not!
I am going to add that I am always thankful for God's blessing over my family.

Skye is so cute! We had NO trick or treaters.... thankfully, we didn't buy too much chocolate! I hope your physical therapy is over for you. You have been through so much this year!
Skye is adorable! I pulled out a little winter coat to try on Annie this morning and she looked so cute. I hope your strength will be returning to you and good health as you look forward to the wedding.
Wow, all that therapy sounds like no fun at all! We didn't get a single Trick or Treater and have a bowl of candy sitting here. Not a good scenario. Your little Skye looks so cute!! :-))
I love Skye's expression!!! So adorable.
Happy November to you! I hope you have a fabulous day.
I have never had a dog that would wear a hat. skye looks so cute and I can tell he is not in love with the hat.
I am in wait mode for Bob's cataract surgery on Dec 4th.. and I wish I was more like a 'normal' woman. as in liked to decorate, do DIY, shop, go to concerts, collect things. I just don't like any of the things most women do. No Halloween here at all except on my blog.
We did the exact same thing for Halloween this year. Very little decorations and about 100 kids.
So you have a plan to sell the house.
The wedding is in November - I bet your are excited. You will have to show photos!
Skye is adorable and very patient to allow you to put a hat on her and snap a picture! I counted because I wanted to know for sure how many trick/treaters we had. We had 59 (I could have missed a few here and there when they came in big groups). I thought we would run out of candy so I sent hubby to store for more then suddenly around 8 o'clock no one else came. He took the extra candy to work with him :)
So good that your anxiety/panic attacks are getting under control and that you will be done with physical therapy soon! I know that will be one thing off your plate you won't have to be concerned about.
Exciting days ahead for you all!
betty
Beautiful photos! The tree is wonderful and I love the bark on the old tree too:)bloom tattoos
Does Mark eat the leftover candy because he's the one with the sweet tooth or is your willpower that good? LOL I think we're all waiting for Adam and Gabby's wedding. I'm so excited and happy for Adam. He certainly deserves to be happy and I wish them all the best that life has to offer. Where will Y'all move when you sell the house? Or are you just downsizing? OMGosh! That Skye. What a cutie! Tucker doesn't like pictures or hats either. But that doesn't stop me. LOL Mother's PT is over next week and she's been cleared to go home. I'm a huge believer in PT now!
Skye is so cute!!
I am so excited for you regarding the wedding. I remember when Adam moved back and we were praying he would find a wonderful friend. He did!
Prayers for the big day!

Phys Therapy really takes a chunk out of the most productive time of my day. I have been going for several weeks now for my achilles and look forward to being released. Not sure when that will be as my achilles is still an issue. Ugh. On the bright side, my rib is healed so whoohoo! So excited for your upcoming wedding. Can't wait to hear about the big day and see pictures.
AWWW Skye is adoranle in that picture
Wow...sorry about your lungs. A November wedding, hope all goes well and lots of joy abounds! Hope you feel more like yourself soon. It looks like Skye has the attitude to match that hat! :)
What an over-comer, m'friend! Applauding over here, from stage right. :)
I can certainly identify with anxiety and panic attacks. Must keep supporting one another ... and breathe! Deeply.
I hope that your health continues to improve. As I navigate my 60's I often get presents of something else hurting. I sometimes look forward to waking up just to see what else is going to hurt. I hope the wedding goes well and everyone has a great time.
I bought some chocolate, just in case, but no children came to our door. So, unfortunately I had to eat all of it myself! ;)
You get a lot of trick or treaters! We have never had one. We drive to a neighborhood close to Roanoke to trick or treat every year.
I hope you are feeling better. I am behind with blog reading. This photo of Skye should win an award. Cute as can be! xo
