On November 22nd I went to see Wonder. This movie is excellent, based on a true story and I was so happy to see so many parents bringing their children to see it. It is a beautiful story and definitely worth seeing.

On December 4th I went to see a movie called Lady Bird. It was a very good movie about a teenager. Saoirse Ronon was excellent. She was in the movie Brooklyn if you saw that one.
She had several nominations for her role in Brooklyn. This move has been nominated for a Golden Globe and she is also nominated for a Golden Globe for this movie and will most likely be nominated for an Oscar.

On December 8th Mark and I went to see Daddy's Home 2. This movie was a lot of fun! Sometimes you just need to see a silly movie like this. It always feels good to laugh.....

This past week on December 13th we went to see The Disaster Artist. I'm sure that most of you wouldn't be interested in this crazy movie but we definitely enjoyed it. It is based on a true story of one man who was definitely different.
The Franco brother's do a great job in this movie. This movie is also up for a Golden Globe and James Franco is also nominated.
"When Greg Sestero, an aspiring film actor, meets the weird and mysterious Tommy Wiseau in an acting class, they form a unique friendship and travel to Hollywood to make their dreams come true."
It's that time of year when nominations are coming out and I love to be prepared for the Oscar's!!

I've seen lots of preview for Wonder. It looked like a good movie
I wanted to see the movie Wonder - I heard it was good. We did see Daddy's Home 2 - i thought it was GREAT! Love, sandie

I'm so far behind the times I presumed Lady Bird was a story about former First Lady Johnson! LOL.
I read another blogger's review about the movie Lady Bird a few weeks back. It intrigued me to see the movie. Now reading yours' I definitely want to see the movie.

Great to see these reviews. Now at least I know whats out there. Since we have no movie theaters in our little town, it´s always a special treat when we go to the capitol and get to enjoy a movie there.
I also saw Wonder in November and hope to see the new Star Wars movie next week...
