On December 20th Mark and I went to see Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. We really liked this movie and it has been doing pretty well at the recent award shows also. Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell have both won awards for their performances.

On December 27th we went to see Pitch Perfect 3. We have enjoyed the Pitch Perfect movies and cast. This one was excellent, lot's of singing which is what we enjoy the most.

On December 29th Mark and I went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We are not die hard fans but always go to see them. I was looking forward to seeing this one and I loved it! Mark wasn't very impressed.

On January 5th we went to see The Shape of Water. We both loved this movie. It has a great cast and their performances were excellent. It is a fantasy love story.

i would like to see 3 billboards but not any of the others. there are several showing now i would like to see, but we wait for TV or Prime to get them. we watched an odd movie last night, Babel with Brad Pitt, i can't say if it is good or not or if i liked it or not. but we did finish it because we wanted to know what was going on....

I'd not heard of it, but Three Billboards sounds really good. Like actually going-out-and-buying-a-ticket good. I'm probably the only soul on the planet who's not seen any of the Star Wars films.

We did not get out to Star Wars, it got so cold here in Wisconsin we hunkered inside. We have watched some old movies here at home under the blankets. It Happened On 5th Avenue, have you seen it, oh my so good.

I was trying to remember the other day how long it's been since I've seen a movie in a theater. Probably a couple of years!
I've only heard of Pitch Perfect (I haven't even seen the 2nd one & didn't realize there was already a 3rd!) and Star Wars. When I was in Ireland we stopped at one of the filming sites. They have a sign there & everything! :D
