1. When's the last time you had a heart to heart talk with someone? A change of heart? Experienced figurative 'heart failure?'
Actually I feel like I have them almost daily. I am always building up my dad and my daughter. I'm not sure about a change of heart. I'll get back to you on the heart failure....
2. Champagne, chocolates, flowers...what's your Valentine pleasure? Any special plans for the day?
Actually I happen to have a crazy day today. I am feeling pretty close to norm now and I am going to bowling this morning. However I have my follow up doctor's appointment at 3 pm which is about 3 1/2 hours after bowling ends and it is just down the street from the bowling alley.

So I will be running errands around the town near there until I have to go to my appointment. Not going to be fun. I need to go to Target, Trader Joe's, P.O. and then after the doctor's appointment I will be stopping and picking up our dinner.
Since I'm going to be out and not to far from our favorite restaurant on my way home I will be getting take out from Panda Inn. We don't normally go out on Valentine's Day because Mark hates the crowds but we usually go somewhere on another day to celebrate.
Yes bring me all of those things. Well wait, I guess I don't need flowers, I'd rather have a plant. I have a gift for Mark and he picked up a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake for me, my favorite!
3. Are you a hopeless romantic or do you fall more in the category of practical and pragmatic? What's a gesture you find romantic?
I am definitely a hopeless romantic, always have been always will be! However Mark is not and he will never get me. At this point and time I am happy with a seashell from a walk he may have taken on a beach.

I have to say that Mark has really pitched in while I've been sick. He has done all the things that I would have done so that way I wouldn't stress about them.
I also felt good enough on Monday to clean out under my bathroom cabinet which I've been wanting to do for over a year now. I got rid of two full trash bags of stuff. So I have officially started my plan for 2018 of getting rid of the clutter throughout the house. Yay Debby!!
4. Do you ask a lot of questions in life or are you pretty content with what you already know?
I do still ask a lot of questions, especially to God.
5. Your favorite power ballad?
I remember this song having a big impact on me. Extreme 1990. I still love it.....

I remember that song and I always LOVED it. Happy birthday to your daughter and a Happy Valentines day to you
I prefer to enjoy flowers outside. It drives me nuts to bring them inside just to watch them die. It took nearly 20 years to get this man to stop giving me flowers which he kept doing because his mother loved bringing flowers inside. Anyway...LOL Happy birthday to your sweet Amber! I'm so glad you're feeling better! Hope the day doesn't exhaust you.
Cheesecake?? yum! You have a busy day planned; I hope you enjoy it!
glad you are feeling better enough to clean and that Mark has been helping. we don't do valentine day but if i were to buy flowers for myself it would be jonquils, i saw some at the Y that someone got for her birthday and wanted them. i had to laugh when i read number 4 because i ask questions all day every day and most of the night.
If I do have to get flowers, I love carnations, deep red. I don't care for roses at all.
Sounds like a great day, all but the doctor's appointment (I hate those). Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Good for you tackling the bathroom cabinet. It's amazing how much accumulates under there! Your daughter-in-law is so pretty! Happy birthday to her! Don't overdo it today!
I totally agree with Mark about going out on Valentine's Day. I've found on most holidays the service is lacking ...they're anxious for you to dine and quick-be-gone. Leisurely dining isn't what it used to be!
Happy Birthday to your beautiful Gabby. I hope all went well with the doctor and glad to hear you felt like going bowling. I so need to get busy with decluttering. We decided years ago that trying to dine out for Valentine's Day on the actual day was not a good idea.
Happy Valentine's Day to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gabby is gorgeous!
Well I know you do have deep conversations with your family.
I ask a ton of questions and I admit I ask a lot to God too - I suppose some day we will understand.
I love chocolates too - I love flowers but I am allergic to them.
Be good.
Dear Debby, I hope you had a fantastic day today. So good to hear you were going bowling and running errands! Glad your hubby helped out so much during your down time. Have a blessed Thursday.
Hugs,
Noreen
Sounds that you had a wonderful time:)
Kudos for making progress on decluttering. I have recently found my desk in my man cave, AKA the estrogen-free zone that is my office.
I encourage you to continue asking God whatever is on your heart. I believe that He always honors our questions no matter what they are. You may find the answers that you seek in His holy word, the Bible, or by speaking with mature, wise friends and acquaintances.
Have a great week.
Glad you are feeling better. What a lovely photo of your daughter in law and son. I picked up dinner for Dear and me on Valentine's day, too. Hope you made it through your errands well and had a nice evening.
I'm very much a romantic and would never turn away chocolates, flowers OR champagne.
Hoe your doctor's visit went well!
Lately I have had a lot of heart to hearts with people who are hurting. :0(
I thought I was the only one who prefers getting plants to cut flowers!
Have a beautiful weekend hope you are feeling 100 percent soon!
Blessings, Joanne
Hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day!
