1. April showers bring May flowers or so the saying goes. Is there a flower you associate with a particular memory? Explain.
I know that my mother loved gardenias so I think of her when I see them. I love sunflowers and when we were driving from France to Italy we saw fields of them which was very exciting for me.
2. Last time you helped someone? Tell us how.
Gosh, nothing is coming to mind. I do feel like I help other's all the time buy listening to them share there problems and comforting them with my words.
3. It's National Salsa Month (the food, not the dance) so tell us, do you like salsa? Hot, medium, or mild? Homemade, store bought, or from your favorite restaurant only?
Yes I like salsa. I prefer the mild but medium is okay too. I haven't tried making it yet so it would be store bought.
4. When I was twelve years old...
That's a good question???? When I remember I will let you know!!! I'm sure I was having fun doing something.
5. It's the first of May so let's run with it-first things first, don't know the first thing about it, first dibs on something, first impression, first rate, first cousin, first string, first come first served, at first light-which phrase can best be applied to something in your life currently or even recently?
I'll go with don't know the first thing about it and that would have to do with taxes. Mark does them each year and I haven't got a clue how to do them. You could apply that to also paying the bills because he does them all online and online banking is not my thing.
Yes I know that I mentioned how I opened up a new account online but it is all so new to me. The two accounts I have do not have a building associated with them and that's just crazy to me. It is all online but it is FDIC. Anyway my money already made $14. in interest and it's only been there for two weeks!

Roxy is adorable! The fields of sunflowers are gorgeous. Our neighbor has two large gardenia bushes that have the nicest fragrance when they bloom. Wishing you a very nice day.
Awww, Roxy is adorable. That sweet little face is irresistible.
If I had to come up with something for "when I was 12" nothing would pop out at me. I don't think that was a very memorable age for me.
i want to hold that puppy and snuggle her up under my chin.. i last helped someone by driving her to get her hair cut, but i did it under duress and did not want to do it, so i think it doesn't count. i hope you used a reputable bank for that online account. it might be a scam, i don't know of anything that makes money that quickly. anyone can create a website and say they are FDIC....
I want to hold Roxy, too! How does Skye feel about her?
How my mother loved her gardenias! She'd an enormous bush that seemed to explode in blossoms each year around her birthday (April) ... she'd clip them and float them in pretty water bowls in the bathrooms. Thanks for prompting that memory!
I like mild salsa, sometimes medium for that extra spice.
You and I are alike at least as for taxes :)
Have a great weekend :)
Roxy is so cute! Will she grow up to be a big dog? I'm glad we have H and R Block do our taxes, I would be lost trying to do them myself. I do all the online bill paying; I really need to write down passwords, etc., just in case. I'm a mild salsa lover myself too, especially with great tortilla chips at a Mexican restaurant.
betty
Well you have helped me by being a friend.
Love Roxy.
What kind of account did you open? That is a great return on your money!

I am IN LOVE with Roxy! That gorgeous face. Have a good week.
Hello Roxy!
Listening is important and very helpful! Good answer.
Roxy is simply adorable! Congratulations :)

Roxy is adorable! Listening and comforting someone with words is certainly considered helping...at least I think so!
Hello Debby, Listening is such a helpful thing to do. Your little grand puppy is so cute. Hope you have a good rest of the week.
We lived near a big field of sunflowers in NJ. So many people came to take photos they had to organize traffic, etc. Roxy is a cutie! Now I'm going to sound a bit like your mama here, but definitely find out how the bills are managed online, should you ever need to take care of that. It's easy, but it's important.
Hi,
Cuteness for sure, Hello Roxy. :-)
I grow sunflowers and I enjoy using them in bouquets.
Love, Carla
I think heaven will smell like gardenias. I love that smell! or honeysuckle or magnolia.... lol. You must make your own salsa sometime... to me, it's so much better than what's in the jar!
When I was twelve we moved house, I started high school and I fell in love for the first time. A busy year!
I love your grand-puppy. I love dogs of all breeds. We have had labrador retreivers and have downsized to Chinese Cresteds (sp?). I think taking the time to really listen to people's problems is a tremendous help. With all the hustle and bustle of life it often is difficult to devote the time to listen to and comfort others.
Thank you for your visit and for your comments. Have a great week.
Hi Debby, There is nothing more adorable that a puppy, unless it's a grandchild. So glad you posted her picture. Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Noreen
