1. What happens to the mail at your house?
Mark takes Skye for a little walk after work and then they get the mail. We sort through it. There is always a lot of junk mail but everything we don't want get recycled.
Mark takes the bills. He pays everything online but we still get paper bills in case something happens to him so that I would still know what needs to be paid.
2. Something you always splurge on? Any guilt associated with the splurge?
It would most likely be a purse. For several year's now I have bought myself something from I Love Dooney. Cute purses for a great price! No I don't feel guilty.
3. There are many, but what are two important questions you think every bride and groom should ask/answer before they plan their walk down the aisle?
Do you want children and what their beliefs are on religion.
4. What's the best advice your father ever gave you?
I'm not sure it was advice but it was what I saw. All people are created equal, their was no racism in our home. Of course he always shares with me the advice his mother gave him, "Don't Grow Old!"
5. Your favorite movie where a father features heavily in the storyline?
There are so many to choose from. I like "Father of the Bride", "My Life", "Parenthood", "The Pursuit of Happiness", "The Family Man", "Dan in Real Life" and a new favorite of mine is "Collateral Beauty" but it is extremely sad.
I could go on and on. I watch all the above movies on a regular basis. Here is a great list of Movies that I agree with 100%.

Have a great day!!
Love the joke and it is so true. Rick walks Disco for the mail too. I guess I splurge on food. Just saw I Feel Pretty - did you see that - I thought it was cute. Love, sandie
we only get junk mail, it goes in the recycle as soon as it comes in, I look through it and toss it. we do get one bill, the water bill. I just told bob today what to do about bills if I died.. he will be lost. I never splurge unless you would consider when my laptop died I bought a new one. I am way to cheap to splurge and if I did would die of guilt. I have not seen any of the movies you listed and can't think of one that had a father in it unless it is Bonanaza which was my dad's most favorite tv show.
Your random thought is cracking me up. I was a Dooney girl years ago. Hope you are having a good week.
You always come up with the best randoms! What a cute tradition with Mark and Skye going to get the mail. What happens when he is out of town? Does she wait for him by the door? I like the thought of getting paper bills so you will know what needs to be paid. That's a good system you guys have set up. I like your dad's advice and even at his age I don't think he's old!
betty
LOVE the random! I just popped over and checked out the Dooney purses via your link and I am LOVING the new jade color for their bags! I am now following from Hodgepodge - you can follow back if you want at Annster's Domain
Since we're WAY behind the times, I really appreciate your sharing this link of recommended movies. I'd totally forgotten "In the Name of the Father" … and how deeply it affected me. (Daniel Day Lewis wasn't bad on the eyes, either. lol) Fiddler on the Roof was also a favorite.
One of these days I'm going to get around to watching Les Miserables … because I loved the stage show, I'm nervous about seeing the film adaptation.
Hello!
Good questions for the bride and groom to consider.
We get a lot of junk mail as well, that seems to be a common theme. Last week I got several personal things and it was such a fun mail day!
Hope you are having a good week!
It's so special to see someone's handwriting in the mailbox. It doesn't happen often anymore. I think my dad definitely led by example too. Have a great week Debby!
Your answers are good and similar to mine. I'm going to check your link for the purse. Love that graphic at the end!
Hi Debby,
I like what you shared for #3!
I like purses too. ;-)
Isn't this hodgepodge fun. All of us have different look on life.
Coffee is on
I'm always up for a good purse!
OK your random thought was wonderful! I love your humor. Great movie choices as well. Have a great weekend.
Greetings from NH. I love "Dan in Real Life." Your other movie choices are good too. I pay the bills online too. It is so much easier. Happy Father's Day to your husband. Have a great weeken.
I loved Dan in Real Life and Collateral Beauty.
