We are going out to breakfast today to a German Restaurant with Gabby's family. It is a family tradition of theirs. They serve awesome German pancakes!
After breakfast we will head over to Adam and Gabby's house. The younger children will do an Easter Egg Hunt.
Later in the afternoon Adam and Gabby are having a Memorial Service for her father. They are having a catered meal brought to their house.
May Jon rest in peace.
I have an Easter basket all ready to take to JP today. I also sent him an Easter card in the mail. I like to write on a $1 bill or a $5 bill his name, the date and whatever 1st holiday it is for him so it can go into his dinosaur bank.
Gabby captured this adorable picture of him with our card. Obviously he doesn't have a clue what it is but he was certainly having a good time!

He should be in a Happy Baby Calendar... a sad occasion today, and I know she misses her dad. So happy he got to see his grandson. Happy Easter, eat a pancake for me
Love the photo of grandpa and grandbaby...
I know he will be missed.
He is risen indeed!
Such a precious picture of JP and his grandfather. Sad that he won't be there to see JP being raised.
Sounds like you have a lovely day planned, Debby! Enjoy! What is the name of the restaurant that you are going to?

Hoping you had an amazing day with the grands and the family.
How can you even stand it with the cuteness? He's precious, Debby! Prayers of comfort for the loss of Jon.
I am sorry about Gabby's father and your grandson what a doll!
Glad you had a blessed Easter.
I don't know if you noticed, but I've been gone for a couple of weeks - my computer crashed and it has taken me forever to get myself going again and I am totally back yet. I may not go back and answer all your letters, but I am here.

That last photo is priceless.
I'm so sorry for your loss but it sounds like there was a wonderful memorial for him.
