So Gabby sent me a picture the other night. They have been washing JP in the kitchen sink since he was born even though they had received a baby tub as a gift.
The thing is he never liked the tub so the sink was a very quick and easy bath. Someone had passed down this neat padded flower that's perfect for the sink. It's quite large and worked perfectly in their country style sink.
So they finally tried his tub out since he has been happier at bath time and he liked it. This is what Gabby said:

Gave the baby a bath in his little tub in the bathroom tub. He didn't cry but I think he was praying "I hope Mom and Dad know what they are doing!"
On a sad note Gabby's father passed away last Sunday on March 31st with his family surrounding him. Adam and Gabby are having a Memorial Service for him on Easter Sunday at their house.
If you didn't know, he got sick about 6 weeks ago. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer. They said with chemo he should be able to live for about a year. After his first chemo he had a stomach bleed. He made through a very risky surgery but then his kidneys were shutting down. They couldn't do anything else for him.
We have joined Gabby's family on Easter Sunday ttfor the last couple of years at Jagerhaus restaurant for an awesome breakfast of German pancakes. It's a tradition her family has been doing for several years. Then we will go over to their house so the kids can do an Easter Egg hunt and then a little later we will honor her father.

He is so cute, and I agree, he does look like he is praying, soon he will be splashing water everywhere.

That's awful that the last few weeks of his life were so hard ... praying for the family in the loss.

I just love this picture of JP! I am sorry about Gabby's father. I think it will be nice to have that memorial for him on Easter. I think it will help with closure.

First, your little one is one of the cutest kids I've ever seen! What a love bug! Second, I'm so sorry about Gabby's dad. I'll keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers.
I am sorry for Gabby at losing her dad, having lost mom in Jan. and knowing how rough it is..she is in my thoughts. Little one looks not so sure about that bath. I have seen the cutest thing for when the child grows some and is sitting, using a round laundry basket to sit the child in and put them in the tub. I wished I had known about that when my kids were little.
That's such sad news, but I fell in love with the bath pic. What a sweetheart!
Awww, babies and baths are just too adorable. First time we gave Kate a bath in He sink, I was a nervous wreck. I’m so sorry for the sudden loss for your Gabby. May the Lord give all of you peace and comfort through this sorrowful time.
