I probably shouldn't even being doing a review of most of these movies since this goes back to August. Like I will even remember if I liked them or not!
Of course my reviews are always very simple because even when I am out of the theater I can't give extreme details to any movie. However I think what I need to do is start a post and just keep adding on after each movie.
On August 6th we saw Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. This movie was entertaining because we enjoy Brad Pitt and Leonardo DeCaprio. They were good together. As a rule we also enjoy Quentin Tarantino films.

On August 14th we saw Fast & Furious Hobbs & Shaw. This movie had non-stop action. It was definitely enjoyable. Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and Ibis Elba were great!
"Lawman Luke Hobbs and outcast Deckard Shaw form an unlikely alliance when a cyber-genetically enhanced villain threatens the future of humanity."
On August 26th we went to see Angel Has Fallen. This is the third in the "Fallen" movies and I have enjoyed all of them. This one did not disappoint.
"Mike Banning is framed for the attempted assassination of the President and must evade his own agency and the FBI as he tries to uncover the real threat."
On September 26th we went to see the Downton Abbey movie. I was a huge fan of the show. Mark only watch the first two seasons. This movie was wonderful. It was so awesome to see my favorite characters again. If you are a Downton fan you will love this movie.
"The continuing story of the Crawley family, wealthy owners of a large estate in the English countryside in the early 20th century."
On September 30th we went to see Ad Astra. This movie was good. A bit slow at times because space movies can be slow. As a fan of Brad Pitt I will always see one of his movies.
"Astronaut Roy McBride undertakes a mission across an unforgiving solar system to uncover the truth about his missing father and his doomed expedition that now, 30 years later, threatens the universe."
On October 24th we went to see Joker with Amber and Dylan. I did like this movie even though it is sad, dark and brutal. If anyone deserves an Academy Award this year it is Joaquin Phoenix! I was so impressed with his performance.
"In Gotham City, mentally-troubled comedian Arthur Fleck is disregarded and mistreated by society. He then embarks on a downward spiral of revolution and bloody crime. This path brings him face-to-face with his alter-ego: "The Joker"."
On October 31st we went to see Zombieland: Double Tap. I am not a fan of Zombie movies. I did not see the first Zombieland but I definitely plan to!
Honestly I don't know why I didn't see the first one because I love the cast. I'm pretty sure I told Mark to watch it alone when it arrived from Netflix because I don't do Zombies. This movie was so much fun. I'm so glad I saw it. I laughed a lot.

Side note: We just watched a movie from Netflix on Saturday night called The Dead Don't Die. I didn't realize it was a Zombie movie which of course was silly of me. I wanted to see it because it was Bill Murray and Adam Driver. Not very good.
Our plan is to see Motherless Brooklyn and Terminator: Dark Fate hopefully this week.

I am so out of the loop because I haven't heard of any of these movies. The closest I can get is knowing about the Downtown Abbey series.

Hubby wants to see Hobbs and Shaw when it comes on Prime next month I think it is. I will waiting to hear your review of the new Terminator movie. I saw clips of it and it looks interesting. Now that I'm no longer working and hubby retiring, maybe we'll get out to more movies!

The only movie I went to in that list was Downton Abbey. I thought it was great the way they wound everything up and answered a lot of questions in my opinion. The Joker looked to scary for me!
I have not seen a movie in a while. Use to love going to the movies. I pretty much decide by the commercials I see when I want to go. I want to see the new Terminator movie. I loved the first two, but was not the biggest fan of the third one. Love the Fallen movies and would like to see this one also. And I love the Fast and Furious movies. I will have to see this one also problem with all three of these, I just don't have the time so I will probably wait till they come to tv or at least to DVD.
I know about Downton Abbey as a TV series, although I've never seen it, and I know about the Joker - but the other movies I've never even heard of! I just don't notice what movies are out, I guess.

My daughter and I went to see Downton Abbey on opening day. We loved it. It was such fun seeing our Downton friends again. And I love that they left it open for a sequel. I mean, wouldn't we all love to see Tom happy in love.
