Happy Birthday Mark. I love you and pray we have many more years together. This year has been so much fun enjoying our grandson James. He has brought so much joy into our lives and he is just so in love with you and that makes my heart happy.
In the arms of Gramps!
We celebrated Mark's birthday on Saturday with Adam, Gabby and James. We ended up going out for dinner and James was amazing, not a peep out of him. He is such a gentle soul and loved watching all the people walking in and out of the restaurant.
On Sunday we made a turkey breast with stuffing and gravy. We also had corn and a baked potato. Kept it simple for the two of us. We added mushrooms to the stuffing for the first time and it was so good. I always use Pepperidge Farm cubed stuffing.
Today he wants to drive to Portillo's for an Italian beef and sausage combo, a favorite of ours from Chicago!

Happy Birthday, Mark! Love that video!
While I don't particularly miss Phoenix, I sure miss Portillo's! Even their customer service I thought was amazing. Cross fingers they open a franchise in Alabama.
Happy Birthday to your Hubby. It sounds like you had a dilightful time together and your grandson is truly adorable.
Happy birthday Mark! Loved the video of him and James and James' picture :) Sounded like a delightful time out on Saturday and your dinner yesterday looks great! I'm glad you featured it because we are having our dinner with son/family tonight as an early Thanksgiving due to their plans for the actual day and I turned the oven on to put the pie in and then promptly forgot it, LOL. So its in the oven now :) Have a turkey breast in the crock pot and then will make stuffing and rice and green beans :)
Now I'm going to have to look up Portillo's since Myra mentioned there's one here in Phoenix.
betty
Happy Birthday Mark!!!
A very happy birthday to your husband. How fun that you were able to celebrate with your son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. And yay that James enjoyed being in the restaurant. Not all babies do, which means mom and dad don't often get to go out.
Blessings,
Patti
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK and your buddy is adorable.
Why did you make turkey early and where did you get that brand of turkey?
I love Portillo's.
Sandie
