Yep, that's me! I just can't seem to get my act together this year for Christmas. I'm pushing myself and little by little it will get done and if it doesn't well that's just how it's going to be.
So if I'm not around commenting on your posts rest assured I will be working on Christmas. Of course it's also possible I'm hanging in my office on the couch watching Christmas movies!!!
I believe I am done shopping and plan on getting the packages to the post office this weekend. Then I think I may feel less stressed. Wish me luck! In the meantime I hope you have a nice weekend.

I've been that way for years when it comes to Christmas. I just can't seem to get myself into it any more. Then again, since Wade passed away I seem to be that way about a lot of things. I don't worry so much about the cleaning or the yard work or whatever. It gets done when it gets done...lol
I relieved my stress when I said no more Chrismtas gifts and gave up holidays. I have been totally happy since then and no stress. you could put up a few things or half of what you usually do, a tree in 2 rooms not 5 or buy a cake instead of baking it. don't give it up like I did, just cut back.. on what stresses you.. OR stress on and enjoy it. 😜😜
Its good to have the attitude you have, Debby, if it gets done, it gets done. Otherwise, just enjoy the season and choose what you want to do over what you feel you have to do. Might be a good year to start new traditions since James is mobile now and will continue to be mobile in the years ahead.

Thanks for the update, Debby! I'm encouraged by your attitude … stress can be a killer. Like those 4 cute lads from Liverpool sang, "Let It Be."
Yes, if it gets done, it gets done, and if not, oh well. Christmas will come and be enjoyed whether we are perfectly decorated or not.
Love,
Patti
Debby don't worry! And if it doesn't get done - it is still wonderful!
I stay in that state until December 26th :)
I was so fed up with the tree not being up yet, I put it up yesterday. And stuffed it with birds! My dad will be so pleased (ahem, they are not silver and he is very old school when it comes to ornaments)!
Just take it easy and hey, let others do a bit as well!
Klem
I am behind this year Debby. GULP!!
Good luck to both of us.
xx oo
