DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN?
1. Have you built snowmen, women or even entire families of snow people like little sister Tootie did in Meet Me in St. Louis? Did you use a carrot for the nose? Tell us all about how it.
I know I have built many snowmen in my days and I'm pretty sure we used a carrot for the nose.
2. Are you hoping for snowmen to melt soon in hotter weather? Tell us about your favorite time of year and please let us know why you love it. List some ingredient of that season that make it special for you.
No, no snowmen here at our house. Here is Southern California I would say the only season I don't care for is Winter because of the Santa Ana winds. Spring, Summer and Fall are all wonderful.
3. Remember bundling up as a child? It took so long to do then you had to go potty and all those layers had to come off again! Is dressing up something you enjoy doing ? Why?
Yes those snowsuits were something else, especially with my own two children and me working full time and getting them to daycare. I am no longer a fan of getting dressed up. I like to be comfortable.
4. In Frozen, the little girl desperately wants to reconnect with her sister and reminds her of the happy times of building snowmen. Are you disconnected from anyone you'd love to reunite with? What happy times with friends and siblings brings you fond memories and smiles to you?
Other than my friends from growing up and living in Illinois there isn't anyone I want to reunite with. Wish I could see my family more often since we live so far away. Frozen is one of my favorite movies. I love Olaf!

You know, I can't recall any particular time when I built a snowman. I'm sure that I did but I suppose it wasn't a memorable enough experience...lol
I built one snowman, the first time I saw snow, I was 10. I was not impressed with building it and that was the first and last... we did once build a snowfort, which was two walls made of squared snowballs, lined up in front of each other, the other kids hid behind them and threw snow balls at each other, but I did not do that either. not a fan of snowballs either. I live in FL far, far away from cold and snow.. I would love to see my brother and his family, have not seen them since 2008, we talk and text but neither of us travel and we live 10 hours away from each other.
Have you see Frozen 2 yet, Debby? I hear it is cute :) I don't know how mothers do it bundling their little ones up to go out in the snow. By the time we were in Montana the kids were old enough to dress themselves and needed little help with boots, etc. But the moms do it to get out and about for sure! Southern California weather is the best (and everyone knows that and that's why its so expensive to live there :)
betty
I remember building snowmen with my own kids - not Andy - but it was a long time ago! Not much snow here in Georgia!
I have never seen Frozen but my daughter loved both 1 and 2. I will have to see them. I do know the music from them though.
Thanks for joining in :) I enjoyed learning more about you.
I've never seen Frozen, either. How is your daddy doing?
We saw Frozen and Frozen 2 with the grandkids. I love Olaf too! I have a couple of Olaf ornaments.
My brother will now build a sandman and send me pics all winter long... he irritates me so...lol Love him.. but dang it all... I want to sit on a sandy beach in Florida while the rest of the fam is up in the frozen north! Have a great week!
Debby, I enjoy making snowmen & snow cream. But, so far, no snow this year. I'm still hoping for cold weather because I don't want a lot of bugs this summer. 🐛🐞
I remember dressing our guys up in snowsuits. What fun..LOL
Olaf is so cute ☃
I cannot imagine living where you do not fully experience all of the seasons. I know so many people love that, but I will keep my snow. I would love to be near the ocean though! Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

Oh yes of course I have. When I was younger and then with my kids. Never got a family made, lucky to even get the one done. Either used a carrot or a piece of charcoal.

Snowmen to melt...haha, you have to have snow to be able to even build one. Unlike the snows we used to have here in TN we just don't get them anymore. We have seen on snow day that gave us 1/2 inch and weekend before last,it snowed all day, nothing sticking. Fave time of yr...the FALL! I love the colors, the crisp air and the smells.
3. Remember bundling up as a child? It took so long to do then you had to go potty and all those layers had to come off again! Is dressing up something you enjoy doing ? Why?
Oh yes, even plastic sandwich bags on our feet to keep our shoes dry. Took forever to get ready to go out and play in the snow! I love to dress up, I love to go casual....depends on the mood any given day.

Disconnected, yes....reunite, that will depend on me getting past my anger and that is part of the healing I am working towards this yr. Happy times, so many but remembering the laughter is always great.
Everyone should be able to build a snowman at least once in their lifetime - I love the snow!
So sorry...I read you sent to my email but I went and looked and apparently my number lock was off...the correct email is pjack214@bellsouth.net...can you send again? Thanks.
Enjoyed your answers, Debby, we have had very few snowmen built around here since we get very little snow, I loved the movie, Meet Me In St. Louis! Thank you for visiting.
Blessings,
Sue
There are still colleagues who remember me for building a snowman one night when we were all staying in a hotel. Those were good times!
And I still love building snowmen. If snow were falling now, I would definitely make one, even if I would be freezing my fingers off...
You know I don't remember ever building a snow man. Oldest of nine kids I never had anytime for myself.
We used to build them, carrot nose and all, when we lived in Massachusetts when I was a kid. Don't get enough snow here, usually, but I've still built a few when I can.
Hi Debby, We have a lot of snow this year. We have several snow people in our village. Our neighbors got very creative and made a lady and a gentlemen. They used a mop for hair for the lady. They have a tie and top hat on the gentlemen.
