Reading is Fundamental
1. Do you have some favorite books to share?(if you don't read, how about favorite TV programs or movies?)
I don't read but I do have about 400 books on my Kindle app. I usually get them free or sometimes I pay 99 cents and they are mostly romance novels. I keep thinking I will read them someday!!
If you have followed me for awhile you will already know that I am a big fan of movies. My list would be very long. You can check out my reviews here and here.
Also I love Primetime TV and I probably DVR 8 hours of programs each night during the season from September to May, Sunday thru Friday and most likely a Hallmark movie on Saturday night.
2. When looking for a book(or program) what things do you look for?
Books like I mentioned would be romance novels. I like a large variety of TV programs. Sitcoms like The Conners, Will and Grace and Last Man Standing. Then the serious ones would be A Millions Little Things, This is Us and then I also like doctor shows like Grey's Anatomy, Chicago Med, The Good Doctor and New Amsterdam.
3. Does the cover of a book make a difference or help you choose?(or do trailers help you decide on a TV or movie program?)
I would have to say that a cover has drawn me to a book but I usually read about the story before I would buy it. When it comes to movies I'm usually drawn in by the actor's who are in it. I do watch trailers sometimes but I don't read reviews before I see them. New season trailers for TV is probably what draws me to a show.
4. What is your favorite genre of book, TV or movie? That is, is it science fiction, romance, mystery, true story, biography?
I'd say I've already answered that in the other questions but I do like a movie based on a true story like the movie Breakthrough and McFarland, USA.

When I read I've gotten to where I prefer a cozy mystery. For tv I like a lot of different things. I was a law and order junkie for a very long time until I got rid of cable. Then I had to adjust my watching, I love New Amsterdam and all of the Chicago shows PD, Fire and Med.
I love Last Man Standing and watch the reruns over and over, also really like New Amsterdam. I like movies and tv and reading, but reading trumps it all. anything by Grisham, Patterson, Child, I can't pick a favorite book or author. I read 2 to 3 books a week and read at least 2 hours of each day, read in doc offices or anywhere I have to wait. there are sitcoms I would watch but bob doesn't care for them so I read while he watches.
I do read lots. Sometimes I get caught out though and think a book is going to be great by reading the blurb and I end up being pretty disappointed. There are also books however, that I buy because they are cheap and I won't have lost that much if they are not good and end up buying the entire series as they are so great!
I've got tons of books on my Kindle too. Not sure I could ever read them all, but when they are free, I can't hardly turn them down. lol
Did you enjoy the Oscars the other night, Debby? Any surprises with who won? Does your Kindle have a limit on how many books can be stored on it?
betty
Enjoyed your answers. I'm not a reader of books either. I love Hallmark movies.
Have a great day.
Haha - I love books - movies, and Hallmark - maybe that is why I never have time!
I love watching A Million Little Things and New Amsterdam. I am a huge Hallmark fan too. Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

I love watching A Million Little Things, This is Us and New Amsterdam.
I watched McFarland at the movies with my sisters. It was a really good movie. Now that we have grandkids, we tend to watch Disney movies with them. Little Women was good too!
I got rid of my TV cable and just watch some netflix and youtube now.
Thanks for joining in.
Hi, Debby! I'm just the opposite. I read a lot & we don't have a tv.
If I watch anything I stream it online.
Breakthrough is a wonderful book & movie.
Blessings💖
8 hours of shows a night! I don't think there's even an hour worth of shows I want to see each night.
I read a pretty good variety of books - some novels and some about things that interest me (medical issues, science, history, and so on). I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite genre.
