Tuesday 4
(Posting on Monday)
Welcome to Tuesday 4, inspired and kept up in memory of Toni Taddeo.
This week, let's talk about home.
This week, let's talk about home.
1. Do you like the way your home is decorated or would you tweak things a bit if budget allowed?
I love the way my home is decorated. I wouldn't change a thing.
2.. Do you have any plans/dreams to change anything about your home ?
We have some plans to paint and do a few repairs to put our home on the market. We need to downsize.
3. What style of furniture do you have or want to have in your home and why?
I'd say our furniture is eclectic. We have some newer items that were purchased when we moved in 13 years ago but we also have family furniture like my husbands grandparents dining room set.
I have my grandfather's Singer sewing machine. I also like Mission style furniture which we purchased for our living room and one of the bedrooms.
These photos are older but it gives you the idea of what I'm talking about. Some decorations have been changed and new ones added.

4. Tell us about your ideal dream house or dream kitchen if you prefer.
We already have a dream kitchen. Large with a center island. No soffits above the cabinets so my 45 year collection of tins can be displayed.
In the last couple of years we redid the front bedrooms. We painted and put in new carpeting along with a new bedroom set in the yellow room since Amber and Dylan took the other set. They lived with us for a few years. We also did wood floors in our family room.

What a gorgeous gorgeous home you have, Debby! I absolutely love it... especially your kitchen. Oh the fun I could have in that!! :-) Love, Andrea xoxo
your home is lovely and I can see why you would not change a thing. love the old sewing machine... as for my house, there is not one single thing in the house I would not get rid of other than the living beings, humand and canine. all floors, cabinets, remove everything in the house, paint and new cabinets , new floors. actually burning it down and rebuilding would work for me except I would not like the time and effort. I would love to just move out and into another home with all new things.
Your family room looks so warm and inviting, Debby! I'm more than a little envious about your kitchen island and counter space. But when all's said and done, I love our little old home - warts and all. I can't define it, but it feels like home.
What a lovely home you have. If I could I would totally gut my entire house and start from scratch.
Hi Debby, What a lovely home you have and I loved seeing your style. I have two antique treadle Singer sewing machines. WE also have a mixture-oak furniture and some antiques.
Hope you are staying in and avoiding the virus.
Hugs,
Noreen
