QUESTIONS TO THINK ABOUT
1. What kind of setting do you like in a book as in nation, country, city, beach, resort, village and why? If there is no preference, how about a type of character?
I read romance novels, if and when I read, and I do like a beach setting or maybe a cabin in the woods. It is usually someone who has been from a broken relationship or a widow/widower.
2. Can you tell us about a favorite character in a book you've enjoyed or a program you watch?
I love Tim Allen from Last Man Standing.
3. Why are you interested in the TV programs or movies you watch or books you read ? That is, what attracts you to them.
I do enjoy sitcoms like Big Bang Theory, Modern Family , Last Man Standing and Single Parents. The medical shows I like are Grey's Anatomy, Chicago Med, The Good Doctor and New Amsterdam.
When it comes to movies I am definitely a romcom fan. I am definitely attracted to the people for all of those venues, it's usually their personality.
4. Do you get upset if the routine of your day is upset or can you go with the flow?
I'm going to say that I probably do get upset.

you would not know me if you were present when things go awry and my routine/schedule is broken. sets me OFF
I love Tim and LMS and New Amerstam also... My favorite character in books is Jack Reacher and things that go boom and blow up and fall down, are what i love, Bruce Willis type books and movies..CIA, FBI Rangers, Seals that is what i love to read and watch
Like you and Sandra, I'm not at ALL comfortable when my routine goes awry. Even on those rare occasions I've slept late, it seems the rest of my day is 'off.' I like those authors who so skillfully describe their characters (that) I can see them in my mind's eye. Sometimes I even pretend I'm a movie producer who's optioned the book's rights -- and now I get to decide who (actors and everyday people I know) I want to cast in the various roles.
Depends on the day for me whether I can go with the flow or get upset when my plans get disrupted.
I like novels but rarely read romance novels.
I had a number of beach novels by Elin Hilderbrand that are pretty good. I think everyone gets upset when things are upset but I do try to ignore it and move along.
I like romantic novels too. Ever read books by Laverne Spencer?
I tend to like small town or community settings and relatable characters.I loved Stephanie Plum in that book series. We watch a lot of cooking shows... they sometimes inspire us to try new things. We also like comedies... especially now! Before COVID19 our routine was often interrupted by our grands or kids needing us to do something or wanting us to go visit. We are pretty "go with the flow" people so we are not bothered by changes in plans... in fact right now we are missing it!
