Welcome to Tuesday 4 in memory and honor of
Toni Taddeo who began it a few years ago.
HOUSEKEEPING
1. What do you consider the most important job or chore to do in housekeeping?
I'm not sure, so many things are important to me. I like things to be dusted and vacuumed. I like clean toilets and floors. I love a clean kitchen and clean sink.
2. Do dishes ever sit over night in your sink?
Sometimes clean in the dish rack and put away first thing in the morning. Cute story, when I would stay with my dad the dishes had to be out of the rack before bed. He said my mom use to insist on that!
3. Is being a stay at home mom a real career?
Yes, absolutely! Have you seen the price of daycare?
4. Can you share favorite brands of dish soap, cleaners, detergents or perhaps a tip on making house keeping easier? Thank you for your participation!
I use Seventh Generation dish soap. I like to use products that are good for our earth. I use it for my clothes also but Mark likes Tide Sport for his clothes.

Not sure there is just one household chore that is most important. If they house is a mess, they're all important...lol
I am guilty of letting dishes sit in the sink especially now that I live alone. Sometimes it just doesn't seem worth it to fill a sink for just a plate, fork and a pan.
I love Seventh Generation dish soap too. And yes, dishes often sit in my sink overnight... and I couldn't care less. *lol* I never used to be that way but now that I'm "retired" anything goes in my book. :-D Love, Andrea xoxo
Hi Debby:
I enjoyed your answers today.
Have a good Tuesday.
Let's not start on housekeeping. I never will like it, although I do like a clean house (see the discrepancy there?).
On that first question says the word is most important I would go with keeping the bathrooms clean. I always have clean bathrooms and clean sink in the kitchen. I like everything neat and in its place but the dust doesn't bother me
I work at the preschool part of our school and yes childcare us crazy ridiculous. It goes to salaries which aren't much...but I think staying at home if you can is best. Loved your answers! Have a great Tuesday!

Does 7th Generation really work?
I like a clean and orderly house - problem is - no one else here cares that much - lol.
I haven't heard of Seven Generations. Is it a Target brand? So true about the cost of day care! My mom used to clean houses to supplement income; funny thing is she cleaned houses all day but our own house wasn't super clean. Perhaps because she was tired? She did keep it up and of course we helped as we got older. Have a great Tuesday!
betty
I'd say the bathroom is my priority … followed closely by the kitchen. I had to smile at your mother's insistence on dishes being put away. My own mother was the same way, only she'd set the table before going to bed so it was all ready for my dad and me when we'd sit down for breakfast.
Ive seen the seventh generation stuff and I will have to give it a try. I like helping keep the environment clean.
That's cute about your dad always having to have them out of the rack before bed. I leave mine in the rack overnight lots of times, but I would definitely enjoy walking into a clean kitchen in the morning having them already put away.
HOUSEKEEPING
1. What do you consider the most important job or chore to do in housekeeping?
I can't say that one thing is more important then the other. Its important to have clean clothes, but you have to keep a clean kitchen. Johns need to be cleaned and trash needs to go out....so all of it is important.
2. Do dishes ever sit over night in your sink?
Yes and when I do that I have to tell mom I am sorry since I now live in her home and she NEVER went to bed with dishes in the sink.
3. Is being a stay at home mom a real career?
I found when I stayed at home that I rather be out and about working...YES
4. Can you share favorite brands of dish soap, cleaners, detergents or perhaps a tip on making house keeping easier? Thank you for your participation!
My fave has always been Pine Sol but a few yrs ago I found Citrus smelling Mr Clean and I fell in love! Yes, I fell in love with Mr Clean!!! However one of my newest finds has been Dawn. I make up a mixture of Dawn, vinegar and water for cleaning my shower doors and I love it. Same mixture will work great on a tub also...
You and I are very much alike! However, I have not tried the Seventh Generation products yet. That's a cute memory of your dad and his dishes.
Wishing you a good evening.
I'd love to try the Seventh Generation brand, but I'd feel like I was cheating on Dawn lol!
And I agree on the price of daycare. It's ridiculous.
we use 7 gen for clothes
You're a better housekeeper than I am. I need to find a good product that gets rid of grime buildup. <3
I've been so busy lately an the house shows it!
I like Seventh generation dish soap, too. Also Myers. For laundry, I've swutche dover to those dissolvable laundry sheets.
