MUSIC
Tuesday 4 is hosted in memory of Toni Taddeo who started it a few years ago and I hope you will join in with us each week. It is a great way to visit new bloggers, make friends and discover new and interesting things about your friends.
1. Do you play a musical instrument?
No I do not.
2. Have you taken music lessons? What kind. If not, is there one you might enjoy learning. It is never too late to start.
I had organ lessons when I was young and the teacher quit me. I believe I played the clarinet in school but I know I quit that! I think the violin would be nice to learn.
3. Is there music in your home as background to your day's activities or do you have music playing in your car, etc.? If so, what kind of music do you enjoy hearing?
No I forget to turn music on. I do play music in my car. I play Christmas music all the time from Thanksgiving on. Otherwise I really like smooth jazz.
4. Do you have a favorite composer or genre of music that you like most? Maybe you like several. Please share with us your thoughts?
I mentioned that I like smooth jazz. Right now I can only think of Kenny G. I have always been a big fan of Barry Manilow, Crosby, Still, Nash and Young and Chicago. We will still listen to music from the past when we take trips.

Our car has preset stations of the 60's 70's, 80's and 90's.
I have a few Christian stations. There is also a soul station that plays
music like Motown. Chicago was one of my favorite group and we got to go see Tower of Power and Average White Band at the Long Beach Arena.
My dad taught me how to play a few songs on the guitar but I never had any formal lessons and I didn't keep up with it at all.
Wade used to always have music playing but I never think to turn it on, even in the car I rarely turn on the radio. They type of music I like just depends on my mood. I can listen to just about anything.
The only time I play music that's when I'm dead inside my exercise! In the car the radio comes on if I'm alone but I find a talk station. But if I'm in the right mood I'll play Loud Rock and then sometimes loud country and when I do turn the car radio on it's always lied and I have to be alone. I don't like riding with someone who has music playing in the background that never goes off because I can't understand what they're saying when they talk. And a pet peeve is allowed music in the background while people are talking in movies because I can't understand what they're saying
Forgot to say I can play the piano by ear but never had any lessons
I enjoyed your answers today.
Have a good Tuesday.
I will listen to anything apart from death metal, which is just screaming and screeching in my opinion.
Chicago was and is one of my favorite groups to listen to. I love late 70's music. I rarely play music when I'm at home. I like peace and quiet!
Oh, Im like you with Christmas music It comes on over Thanksgiving weekend! I usually begin with the more classical unknown pieces so as to not make hubs crazy, I love medieval Christmas which is great for Novemeber as well!
Oh how I love Christmas music! Loved your answers! Have a nice Tuesday!

I like christmas music after thanksgiving as well. :) I enjoyed reading your answers.
1. I play the radio...
High school I played the Alto Clarinet..not well but passible.
Took accordion lessons..hated it but it did teach me music appreciation and how to read music...it helped me play simple things on the piano too.
I used to play my CD's all the time at home but the constant music annoyed my Hubby so I don't do it often anymore.
Talk radio is always on in the car...that's my Hubbys favorite.
I like the group Home Free and their style of country, Christian music like the Gaithers is great background.
I really like a lot of Classical too.
have a great day.

I enjoy lots of styles of music from the past🎶🎶
I listen to music at work but usually at home I like it really quiet lol. Hubby likes jazz too. I could take it or leave it but let him pick what he wants to listen to

LOVE Manilow, Crosby Stills & Nash and of course, Chicago. Their music transports me to the happiest times in my life.
Funny, I took organ lessons too - way back when. Does anyone do that anymore?
I like Kenny G too.
I no longer play any instrument. I played trumpet, baritone tuba, and French horn in band in middle and high school and took piano lessons briefly. But I do love music. Mostly I listen to it in the car.
