1. Are you currently making plans of any kind? What kind? What emotions are associated with the planning process? Tell us about one plan you had to cancel due to the current situation which shall remain nameless. Ha!
Talking about visiting Amber and Dylan in Montana. Maybe driving straight through because I don't want to go to a hotel. They have had only a few cases in the town of Great Falls and none right now. It does however make me nervous.
Well we can't babysit for James like we had planned earlier in the year when Adam and Gabby go out of town in July.
2. Last time you saw stars, either literally or figuratively?
I see stars in the sky most every night.
3. Blueberries yay or nay? Blueberry pie, blueberry muffins, blueberry yogurt, blueberries by the handful...what's your pleasure?
I love blueberries. All of the above but usually I will put blueberries into my Fage yogurt. I really don't eat pie or muffins but Mark wanted a blueberry pie so I ordered one with our delivery from Sprout's recently and I did have a piece. I also like them by the handful which is how I usually eat them.
4. Swim against the tide, swimming upstream, in the swim, sink or swim, makes your head swim...choose one of the 'swim' idioms listed and tell us how/why you relate?
I'm going with "makes your head swim" for all of the posts that are driving me crazy on Facebook. I'm still in favor of happy posts on Facebook like it use to be years ago. People's children, pets, and the food your eating. It's been pretty annoying for about 4 years now!
5. Sum up your June in a single sentence.
Full of birthday celebrations and anniversaries along with sadness because of Father's Day and my Dad's 97th birthday.
6. Insert your own random thought here.

i hope it works out for you to visit Montana. I like blueberries too. I add them to plain oatmeal. I know Father's Day and your Dad's birthday were sad for you. I pray that July will be a better month.
Hope you enjoy your trip to Montana. I would love to go somewhere but wouldn't want to travel alone.
I usually see stars in the morning as I'm going to work. I like your thoughts on making your head swim. The happy stuff is what I enjoy about Facebook.
I have slowly but surely cut out anybody who annoys me with political posts, ranting posts, too many 'like if you agree and repost' posts. Which means there are fewer and fewer friends, which I don't mind at all.
Right now all is going swimmingly: my diary is filling up again with appointments and meetings and yes, even work!
Enjoy your trip! Montana looks like a place I would love. It is definitely better to be avoiding all the politics and ranting on Facebook and other platforms at the moment. Sometimes I wonder if people actually read and understand what they are reposting. I love, love, love your random thought! So true!
JULY??
Amen to your random thought!!!!
I hope you get to make your trip and that's a great random thought.
I love your random thought meme sooooo much! Montana looks like the place to be! Totally understand your reluctance to stay in a hotel. Matter of fact, if Tom and I decide to take a long weekend on the Gulf I'll be bringing my own bedlinens and towels. (Think it was on the Today Show a few weeks back, where families are bringing their stuff.)
I can't remember when's the last time I looked at the stars we go to bed really early and in the morning when we're driving to the YMCA we are driving under street lights so we can't see the stars. The best Stars I ever saw was out in the country when we stepped outside the little country church and it was black dark and all you could see was Stars. Good idea to not stay in a hotel on the way to Montana but that's a mighty long way to drive
Without stopping I meant
I like that random thought, Debby! Might have to borrow it. That is interesting Great Falls didn't have a lot of cases; I think that was the case for most of Montana. I know they opened up their cities sooner than we did and the kids were back in school before the end of the school year (in Billings at least) and back to sports like baseball/softball. Are Adam and Gabby still going away in July? We saw the moon's eclipse last week; that was neat! We do have some good star gazing here when we go out and look.
betty
Ummm, I love blueberries any way...
Not suppose to eat pie (flour) or fruit (too much sugar) but I have to admit I cheat every once in a while...have to watch my numbers.
I do hope we can GO Forward to Better too.
Don't watch the news much any more..I get so tired of fear and discontent....
Sue
Hi Debby,
We have cancelled our trip to Great Falls for 2020. With everything going on regarding Sam's deployment we want to be close. Milwaukee and Madison both are riot cities and the guard is already on notice for that reason. Sadly our capitol building was vandalized, several statues dumped in a lake (one of my favorites Lady Forward) and a state senator was beat up.
I am praying for GO FORWARD to BETTER!!!!
Love, Carla
I hope all goes well for your visit to Montana. I LOVE your random thought!
I hope you get to see Amber and Dylan.
I love to look at the stars too.
I think I would take a piece of the blueberry pie myself.
LET'S GO FORWARD TO BETTER - love that!
Sandie
Hope that road trip to Montana works out for you. I understand not wanting to stay in a hotel along the way although they have really stepped up their cleaning and disinfecting regiment. Some hotels leave the previously occupied room vacant for 24 hours before cleaners go in to keep the cleaners safer, too. Interesting times we live in for travel. Have a wonderful 4th of July weekend!
A great big YES to going forward to better. There is so much in this crazy world that makes our head swim right now, that we definitely need better. I chose to get off Facebook for a while. I may read some of my favorite friend's posts and I only post my blog, and try to never comment. I had to get away.
I really like that saying! I am sure hotels are really doing their best to keep things clean. I hope you get to take your trip. We are suppose to go to Lake Tahoe in the fall, but we will see. We drove there last fall and hubby wanted to fly, but I don't want to go on a plane.
Mm, I love blueberries, too.
Montana sounds great this time of year.
