So last Saturday we visited with Adam, Gabby, James and Gabby's mom. I admit I was a bit concerned about how I would feel because Isa is part of their so called "bubble" so she would be on the porch with them.
It went well and we had a really nice time visiting with her. Haven't seen her since her birthday party back in March. I thought if James is climbing all over her I might feel jealous. Actually if you look at theses photos his big interest was the neighbors across the street!
I managed to get one quick smile....
Still busy watching....
I have no clue what this was about but it
makes me laugh really hard....
I do have to admit that when we arrived and he came out of their front door he had the happiest smile I have ever seen. He was happy we were there!

I know exactly what you mean. When I went to Presley's birthday party it was her moms family that Presley went to. She was even more drawn to their neighbors than she was to me. Obviously James was very partial and didn't play favorites :)
Glad all went well, James sure is a little cutie!
So glad he was happy to see you and you caught some great photos of him watching you. Hope you have a great weekend.
So glad the visit went well! I love the last picture. Maybe he was going to growl? He is going to be a people watcher, maybe an observer in life? So adorable!
betty
Yep, I get the 'other gram/gramp' feelings. Not so much for me, but my heart used to ache for Tom when we'd visit his son and family. Because her parents lived right next door, they were an everyday part of the kids' life. I'll never forget when the 3 y/o said, "Bye Uncle Tom." :(((
My favorite porch picture today is the next to the last one with his arm hooked over the railing looking across the street. Glad the visit went well and I know how much you must want to hold him. I hope it gets to where you can hold him before he gets too big to hold
Of course he was happy you were there. You're one of the most important people in his life and someone he loves so very very much. Lucky little shave... and darling too. :-) Love, Andrea xoxo
Lucky little "shaver".... not "shave".
Such special moments for you.
This being separated is for the birds. I sure hope we can all be together again in the near future.

I know what you are feeling - we have it too even in my family.
He is a doll baby and HE LOVES HIS GRANDMA!
James is a cutie, so glad you had a good visit with him.
He's adorable, and I'm glad he doesn't play favorites. That would be so hard.
I had a visit from my younger grands and at first I was hesitant because they are going to school in a private school and not wearing mask. The class size goes from 4-9 and they are suppose to be keeping a safe distance. My daughter in law feels that they are safe. My older two go to public school which has not opened up yet. Enjoy your weekend!
I know those visits warm your heart.
Debby, all of the pictures are cute. But, that last one made me smile and giggle 💖
So sweet at this age! Granny he will love you all.
Let's hope that pretty soon you will be able to get close to him again.
Hello Sweet James!!! :-)
I am so glad it went well for you Debby.
