Mark likes Tide Sport and I tend to use Method Mango or a lavender Seventh Generation.

We have carpeting, tile and our family room is laminate which happened a few years ago. I love the laminate floor but it does show more than carpeting.

1. open windows first
2. clear up clutter before cleaning.
3. start in bedrooms first
4.give cleaning products time to work.
5.Always sweep or vacuum before mopping
6.use a toothbrush for hard to get at areas
7. keep things on a central cart if you can
8.dust everything
9.vacuum your furniture often, mattresses once a month or so.
I believe I clear up clutter before cleaning if need be. I always vacuum before mopping. I do use a toothbrush for hard to get areas. I try to dust everything and I do vacuum the furniture but it's not once a month. So I guess I do 5 of them.

Your room looks so cozy! I sure wish our weather would cool down.
I always used to use a cheap brand of laundry detergent but when Wade and I got married he insisted that Tide was the only thing that worked. For fabric softener sheets though I won't go cheap because they don't work well. I buy bounce
I use a dryer but years ago I did hang clothes outside
I still have some carpeting in my house but I would like it all gone some day.
I only follow a few of those guidlines

I use all because I'm allergic to everything and it seems to do the best job and not make me allergic and I use a dryer because I'm too lazy to hang out and besides we don't have a clothesline I did all that when I was raising my kids. And I don't want to go back to that. About that list of the way to do housework I have never listen to anything that anybody told me to do and when somebody tells me to do it a certain way then I always make sure I do it another way haha I was a born Rebel and it always makes me wonder who do they think they are to tell me how to do my housework. I love your house and I love your laminate that looks like wood and that's what I would put where our carpet is if Bob would let me and we could afford it. I don't want real wood because it's too much work remember I said I'm lazy! That said I do love our ceramic tile that's in the kitchen the hall in the bathrooms just sweep and mop

Very comfortable looking room Debby! We dust about once a month here but now with Winslow we have to do lots more vacuuming :)

I have never had a cleaning cart and now thankfully, our house is small enough that I sure don't need one. I no longer have a cleaning routine but just do things when I feel it needs it and I'm in the mood. We don't clutter so it always looks neat and clean.
Haha I would like $200 and have someone do all that cleaning for me! Does Method Mango work? Where do you get it?
