Hey friends! Welcome to our Tuesday 4 where we remember our friend Toni Taddeo with 4 questions each week. This week is all about fun times.
Fun Times
Did you as a child or do you now like amusement parks, going out to places of entertainment? (theaters, themed parks, etc.)
Yes, we had Riverview Park in Chicago but then it closed down in 1967. I do enjoy amusement parks but my husband doesn't. We have some great park in California which we have visited a few times.
Which rides/parks did you enjoy the most or what snack foods to you enjoy when you are out and about?
Honestly I like them all. I can't think of any particular snack food other than cotton candy.
When you were a kid, what activities /games/places brought you the most enjoyment?
Playing outside was the best. We would do that all day long.
Would you share with us a fun time or great trip that you've experienced?
I've had several wonderful trips that were fun. Many here in the states because there is so much to see. I have to say that my favorite trip was going to Europe. You can read my posts HERE. We were gone for 3 weeks.

I always enjoyed going to amusement parks. I like any ride except for the ones that spin. I don't like spinning...lol
When I was a kid it was always fun when all the kids in the neighborhood would get together and play games. There were quit a lot of us that were around the same age.
My most memorable trip was probably when I was around 7. My family went to Mexico for Christmas. It was amazing but a trip I could appreciate so much more now.
I like going to amusement parks for people watching these days, LOL. They were fun when the kids were growing up to see the magic of the place through their eyes :)

the only thing i liked as a child was the merry go round at the fair grounds, and all the food, or any of the food or some of the food... Fair defined is FOOD for me. we were a no vacation family, except twice when daddy forced us to go to Uncle shed fish camp. arrrrh no fun there. except for daddy had fun. i loved red rover red rover and simon says and round and round the mulberry bush, red light, green light... those kinds of games. i never went on a vacation with my parents, but did go to NYC with grand daddy at age 8, me not granddaddy
Playing outside as a kid was the best fun!
I remember Riverview Park in Chicago - think we talked about that before! Those big air pipes blowing up from the ground! lol
Yes!!.... playing outside! My sandbox, my playhouse that Dad built over one winter & assembled outside in the spring, my neighborhood buddies, my bike... such wonderful memories! ~Andrea xoxo
I'm so glad we grew up in the times we did, just playing outside with the neighborhood kids was the best! I have great memories of our Europe vacation too :)
Playing outside when we were kids was fun too. I liked riding the Merry go round at the park. I don't think they have them anymore cause so any kids got hurt.
I really enjoy parks like Disneyland but the wild spinning rides aren't my favorite. Actually I am scared on the huge farris wheels I guess it's the heights.
Loved cotton candy and caramel apples the best...but not for my teeth..haha
As a kid I spent most of my time riding my bike and roller skating.
Tag and playing with my dolls was my favorite thing to do too.
I love "going" always have and always will.
Vacations with my folks, camping seeing the USA...visiting so many countries and seeing how others live.
Wish I could be doing it right now!!

I haven't been to an amusement park in a long, long time because the prices are so high and I really can't do rides anymore. The last time was a trip to Great Adventure and it's Safari park. Thank you for joining in. I hope you enjoyed this meme.
It makes me sad that today's kids don't seem to enjoy the freedom to play outside all day like we did. Those really were good times.
Hi Debbie! Riverview park looks really nice! Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

Oh yes! I loved Six Gun Territory which closed in the 70's and I would go back to Disney World if the price was right.💖
