1. Something little you are loving right now?
Of course this is late so my answers may be different than they would have been on Wednesday. I am going to say being home. Will explain in random thoughts.
2. Red roses or pink peonies? Red wine or pink lemonade? Red lipstick or pink polish? A cotton candy colored sky or a fiery red sunset? A book-movie-song with the word red or pink in it's title?
I love red roses but I am picking peonies today. Red wine. Pink polish. Fiery red sunset. Pretty in Pink.
3. What's something you currently have your heart set on doing-going-seeing-or experiencing?
It is always on my heart to visit James. Didn't get to see him last weekend and will not be seeing him this weekend. We have rain today and we visit outside.
Also we want to visit Amber and Dylan again in Montana. Hopefully after we have more protection with the vaccine we can take off to Montana. We did see them in September and we were very careful and did okay.
4. Who would you most like to have a heart to heart with right now? Is that possible?
My dad but of course that isn't possible because he passed away last April 2nd. He was my heart to heart phone call everyday. He was always so supportive and encouraging.
5. Write an acrostic for the word L-O-V-E.
L - Little O - Offerings V - Validate E - Expression
Expression: the process of making known one's thoughts or feelings
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Late in joining in because I went to the hospital on Monday. Didn't want to go, not during Covid, but it was time. I started to have a lung infection on New Year's Eve. Started steroids on New Year's day followed by an antibiotic. That's what it usually takes to move past it, however they didn't work.
Could not get in touch with my pulmonary doctor because he was out of town. Contacted my primary who has always been excellent with my COPD and medications but at some point they send you to a specialist. We started on something else which was about 3 weeks after my first treatment. Thought I was starting to feel better but crashed on Super Bowl Sunday.
Talked with my doctor on Monday and it was time to go to the ER. It was a terrible experience because of Covid and I may write a post about it later. Technically I was outside with tents for 8 hours. Didn't want to sit in tent because most people were there for a covid test. I tested negative.
Had several tests done while waiting....EKG, Chest x-ray, and blood work a few times. (I sat in a chair outside of tents until the sun went down and needed the heat of a tent. Got there around 1 pm was inside around 10:30 in an ER private room because I finally complained and then Tuesday morning moved to a room.
I am now home. Not out of the woods yet but hopefully will be better within the next few days.

Glad to know you were back home from the hospital. Lots of hugs coming your way I know how hard this is trying to get back to where you were
Glad that you are home. Sorry you had to be in a big tent. What hospital were you at? We have Kaiser. Tomorrow we are getting our Covid Vaccines through St Joseph's in Orange because my daughter works for them and we are 65+. I hope you get better soon and glad you do not have Covid.
I am so sorry for such a dreadful experience and I pray you are back to full health very soon....Hang in there Debby ♥
It sounds like a horrible hospital experience. Will we ever be able to get back to normal life?
I am just so glad to 'see' and have you back! GET WELL!
What an ordeal you had, Debby! We are almost a year into this pandemic. You think they would have figured out a better way to get non Covid people admitted without having to be in a tent as long as you were with being cold, etc. I hope you continue to feel well. It is such a bummer you can't see James these days but hopefully soon.

I'm so sorry about the hospital... I hope you continue to get better.
Ooooooh (((((Debby))))). What a truly rotten experience all the way around but especially with that da*n ER! ER visits have always been a nightmare in general but now with the virus... egads! I'm so sorry you had to go but I'm glad it's now behind you. I pray better health is ahead, honey. Please keep us posted as you are able. Prayers are with you!! Love, Andrea xoxo
Hello, I was stopping by to check on you. Thinking of you and saying a prayer for you.

Wow Debby, that sounds scary. Hope you are continuing to heal up.
I love peonies, but also apricot colored roses. I carried a bouquet of just roses in my wedding (cream colored). And red wine, of course.
What an awful ordeal. I hope you are doing much better now
I really did enjoy your answers
