1. Your favorite cleaning product? Do you clean your own house or hire out? Most disliked household chore? What one chore do you not mind so much?
I'm not sure I have a favorite. Yes we clean our own house but we need help. I can't do too much anymore and Mark doesn't want to do it. Mopping floors or doing windows would a dislike. I don't mind doing laundry.
2. It's Canned Food Month...do you use a lot of canned goods? What are the three canned items you purchase most often? Last thing you made using a canned ingredient?
I wouldn't say we use a lot of them but our pantry is full. I would say green beans, corn and soup. I use canned goods in my crockpot chili.
3. Can of worms, anything can happen, can you imagine?, as best I can, kick the can down the road, more than one can take, no can do, not if I can help it...choose an idiom and tell us how you currently relate.
I'm going with "as best I can." Being ill since New Year's Eve has really knocked me down. I am doing the best I can right now, got some new information and plan on moving forward to "not if I can help it!"
4.The last Tuesday in February is National Spa Day. Are you someone who enjoys a day at the spa? Last time you visited a spa? Do you have a favorite spa? Are salons open for business in your area? Have you made changes to your hair and nail routine since Corona hit? In what way?
No I am not a spa person other than getting a pedicure and that hasn't happen since last March. Right now I believe we are open for haircuts and I need to get another one. Doing my toes has been a challenge for me but I am keeping them cut, filed and clear polish on them.
5. Believe it or not this is the last Hodgepodge of the month. In one sentence sum up your February.
I haven't seen James in 3 weekends, it has not been a good month for me!

So James fell and had a terrible fat lip. That was the day after I got out of the hospital on the 11th. A week later all was well. I felt so bad for him.

I have never had a favorite cleaning product. My most disliked chore is cleaning the bathroom.
Poor James, that looks like it must have hurt.
Hi Debby:
Poor James, that must have hurt but he is adorable anyway.
I always enjoy your answers. Take care!

Poor little James, it hurts me just looking at it. I'm glad he's all better now. I hope you are feeling better soon!
I wonder if there is a person on the planet that did not fall as a toddler, this looks so painful, and they do heal so quickly Poor little guy
I hate Dusting, I love mopping the floor. dislike all housework some worse than other but have never had help. Bob does vacumn.
most bought canned goods, carrots, potatoes, kidney beans black beans, almost every week and the cabinet is full of all those. alos buy canned collard greens. we had 5 can and frozen crust chicken pot pie last night.
I HATE having to clean our floors -- both vacuum and mopping. (Good thing our place is small - ha.) Laundry and baths, no problem.
I'm not a spa person, either ... but would love to re-visit the mud baths at Calistoga some day.
James' face looks so painful, poor guy. Is the new puppy for him? What kind are they?
Awwww... poor little James. But his "mugshot" sure is typical for little boys, it seems. I've got a few of those of my son too, when he was little. It's a right of passage, for sure. I haven't seen my grandgirls in-person since the first weekend in November, of last year, when we had a driveway picnic. Taking 10 minutes to drop-off Xmas presents doesn't count in my book... nor do Google Meets gatherings online. ~Andrea xoxo
Oh my gosh I hurt for James - that is his first reality of life can hurt. Poor baby.
What kind of dog is that?
We are getting or Andy is getting a puppy Friday - did I tell you that? An Aussie. ???
Aw that is a doozie of a fat lip, but thankfully they recover quickly. We know a couple of people who have recently gotten puppies...tis the season I guess. Plus puppies spread happiness and don't we all need that these days! Hope you are feeling better!
Bless his heart! He did a number on his lip!! It never ceases to amaze me how quickly children heal -- their cells are recreating at such a fast rate!! Those pups are adorable!!!
Ouch, poor James. I'm sorry to hear about your hospital stay and the fact that you are still feeling poorly. Hope you get better soon. That's the only kind of puppy I'll ever be enjoying...a grand puppy. :) Hope the rest of February goes well for you!
Glad James healed up but what an "oowie". Sorry you still aren't feeling 100%; been such a long haul for you! I don't think I would be a spa person either. Since hubby is retired, he's been doing all the housework because I'm working. Great incentive for me to keep working LOL :) How cute with the puppy. Do they have a name picked out yet?
betty
Bless his little heart. I’ll bet that scared his mom and dad!! Puppies are always a happy occasion! I hope you are feeling better!
Sending you hugs Debby, I do hope you are feeling better.
I am sending James a hug too.
How exciting about a new little puppy for Adam and family.
That picture of James made my heart hurt. I'm glad he is better now. And I hope you are, too.
Can't wait to see more photos of the new puppy!
Hope James is better. What a cutie.

James' lip looks horrible! Poor little guy.
I'm such a sucker for puppies!
Ouch - that lip! Poor baby.
I actually enjoy doing laundry. So easy and it gives me a sense of accomplishment. I don't enjoy cleaning things like kitchens and bathrooms.
