Welcome to Tuesday 4 which we keep going in memory of our dear friend Toni Taddeo.
This week how about talking about cooking tips and advice? We probably all have some things to pass along!
Cooking
1. What is the most valuable kitchen utensil you have or one you use often and could not live without?
I tend to use a silicone spatula a lot. I got these as a Christmas gift. They are so darn cute!
2. Do you have any fancy gadgets like air fryers, etc in your kitchen? How are they working out for you?
No, just a crockpot.
3. Do you have any step or labor saving ideas that make cooking and meal preparation easier?
I do like to get everything I need out of the pantry or refrigerator before I start.
4. What is your favorite recipe of all time? Would you share it with us?
I have several recipes I enjoy. I like the meat loaf from The Fannie Farmer Cookbook. My copy is from 1979.
A newer recipe that we enjoy often is Easy Provolone Chicken Bake. I had found it on Pinterest. These are both comfort foods.

Those silicone spatulas are so cute. I do have an air fryer and a insta-pot. I've used the air fryer quite a few times but the insta pot only once. I find it too confusing.
I can't say that I have a favorite recipe but the one I just made was delicious. I found it on Pinterest. It was for creamy crack chicken soup.
No fancy stuff here either although I might get myself an air fryer one of these days. I hope you are feeling better!
Your spatulas are soooo cute.
I also like to get everything ready before I start.
Have a good Tuesday.

My favorite recipe is hot dogs on buns, and no spatula needed for that. I do as little cooking as possible and will leave the other questions alone.. i don't know if my spatula is silicone but we use it a lot for leaning out jars of jelly and peanut butter in order to recyle them... i have not tricks of the trade. I do thought know the trick of on line order and deliver/pickup
Adorable spatulas! Oh, the chicken provolone bake has my mouth watering, big time. I've quite forgotten about consulting Pinterest; it's such a great resource!
After all these years my old rubber spatulas bit the dust and it is time to replace them. I am going to get silicon. Yours are so cute.
YES! When I have to work I like to set everything out on the counter so it is ready when I am getting ready to cook dinner. It just makes things go faster. Loved your answers. Have a nice day!

Silicone spatulas are an absolute necessity, especially the newer high heat ones. I'm going to check out that Chicken Provolone recipe.
Me too ~ I do like to get everything I need out of the pantry or refrigerator before I start.
those spatulas are too cute!! hope you have a great week
Funny - I only have a crock pot too.
Very cute spatulas! I agree; we get out everything we need for cooking or what the recipe needs before we start cooking. I bought an Instapot on impulse November 2019 and never used it; going to sell it. Son got us an air fryer Christmas 2019, used it once :) But we use the crock pot very often :) Hope you are feeling a bit better??
betty
Those spatulas are cute!!! Happy Tuesday!
Spatulas are good for so much in the kitchen!
Thanks for the meatloaf recipe. I love trying new ones.
With all the new-fangled gadgets available I am still happy with my crockpot.💖
