3. Tulips or daffodils? baby birds or baby bunnies? The cherry tree or the dogwood tree? Jelly beans or peeps? March madness or spring training? Peas or carrots?

4. I read an article here on the South's best cities on the rise. They are-Baton Rouge Louisiana, Fayetteville Arkansas, Greenville South Carolina, Huntsville Alabama, Lexington Kentucky, Norfolk Virginia, Tulsa Oklahoma, Waco Texas, Wilmington North Carolina, and Winston-Salem North Carolina. Of the cities listed how many have you seen in person? Which one on the list would you most like to see? Have you spent much time in the southern states (USA)? Any spring road trips on your calendar?
I don't think I have been to any of those cities. I'm assuming most of those cities have humidity and mosquitoes so I'd rather not deal with that again. It's been very nice not having that in California.
We might take a trip to Montana and Arizona in the near future.
5. Tell us how your outdoor space needs sprucing up this spring? Which do you enjoy more (or hate the least-ha!) yard work or house work?
Actually we just bought some new plants yesterday to replace some areas in the yard that we are changing. We are also redoing some areas with stone which we haven't bought yet.
We have 2 beautiful section in our yard that has ground cover. Sadly the last few winter's it hasn't done well. It comes back but takes a few months so Mark wants to possibly put artificial grass in those two sections. Our backyard does not have grass, it was never designed that way.
We will also be planting our garden again. I can't wait!
I use to love doing yard work but I just can't anymore. I don't mind housework but that too has been very difficult lately but I do push myself to accomplish something each day.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Done....
Since we were near Adam and Gabby's we picked up lunch afterwards and ate with them outside in their backyard. James was at Day Care.

I can't remember the last time I "sprang" into action. These days it's more like dragging myself reluctantly...lol
How nice to have lunch with your kids in their backyard...I love eating outdoors and would do it more often if hubby enjoyed it as much as I do...but he's more of an indoor eating person...doesn't like bugs, and we do live in Florida...so that's pretty much a given...LOL. Although they aren't bad right now. It's summertime when they are a nuisance. The last time I sprang into action was when we moved here to this house in August 2019. Our house sold very suddenly after waiting for 9 months, and we had 3 weeks to get moved out and we couldn't close on our "new house" for another month...so we had to move into our church's empty parsonage and stored everything there in the garage, etc. until we could close on this house and move again. I hope to never do that again! Too old for this moving stuff! Have a blessed and wonderful day. Enjoy your new plants, etc.
Sorry you missed seeing James but I know how much you enjoyed having lunch with your kids. Lexington Greenville and Fayetteville I have been there several times. Bob has 7 days from today will have his second and mine will be 9 days from today and I can't wait to get my little card that stamped with both
Ha - I don't spring much anymore myself. I love tulips. And I am so glad you got your two shots. I did too. Love, sandie
I live in Alabama and we do indeed have high humidity and mosquitoes! I've had my first moderna vaccination - I had a major headache for 24 hours and then it was gone. My next shot is the week after Easter. I'm so ready!!
Humidity and mosquitoes are both annoying for sure. My hair just can't live in the deep South! Glad you had a nice visit with your kids. Hope the rest of the week goes well for you.
I love your random thought. Congrats on getting the vaccine.
I'm loving that HOPE meme. Congratulations on getting your second vaccine! Tom and I will get ours April 7 and 9, respectively; I can't wait to attend in-person church services and eat INSIDE a real restaurant again.
I'm glad you were able to have your vaccine and I'm sure your family is happy for you. I hope you're feeling better and can get out and enjoy your beautiful yard. Fortunately my hubs loves yard work!
I enjoyed your answers.
Have a great day.

I will come do your yard work Debby. :-) But I would need to learn all about California plants, soil, pests and more. Ha!
Love Ya! Carla
Congrats on your COVID vaccine record. I'm trying to get mine but finding it almost impossible. I hope you do get to travel soon💖
My yard has no been cut this yr. I figure it will get done today. My brother does it, for now. But I got out there the other day and did the weedeating in the fenced in area, the clover was so THICK. I knocked several patches of it with the weedeater. Mark does the yard with the riding and I have a push, I usually do the fenced area. Its a nice day so I will prob go get gas and cut it today. I have finally got Mark to understand that he does not need to haul the mower over every week to do the yard. So...a riding is in my future. My younger brother taking care of me. Garden....I only do the flowers. I did tomatos in buckets last year, but I am not even sure I am going to do that, birds ate a lot of them. Do you do a big garden?
