James' Easter Basket
We celebrated Easter at Adam and Gabby's house. Years ago I would make Easter dinner here at the house. We would do a Prime Rib. The last several years we have joined Gabby's family at a German restaurant out their way for German pancakes on Easter morning.
Then we would meet at Adam and Gabby's for an Easter egg hunt for the kids and often end up ordering pizza later in the day. That was even before James was born. So obviously last year we did not meet for Easter but this year we did meet at their house. It was a beautiful day and there pool has been done for a few month now so of course the kids went in.
They mainly said in the spa or the area that is shallow next to the spa. Jason did go in with his daughter in the deep end and Adam went in with James.
This is James and Papa splashing with their feet.
Looks as though James is pointing at Papa!
It was a beautiful day. We brought a vegetable tray, onion dip, chips and deviled eggs along with some wine. We also had some of the German pancakes from the restaurant, quiche and lovely cheese platters with meats, grapes, nuts, etc. We all had a lovely time.

I can't even imagine going swimming in April. You would freeze to death here...lol Looks like James was really enjoying himself.
What a delightful-sounding menu! I've friends in Phoenix who spent Easter in their pool, too. As ever, I'm loving these pictures!
Sounds like a lovely day! Our pool is still under its winter cover... too cold here to swim yet. James seems to be enjoying the water... I love to watch the little ones in the pool. Have a great weekend!
Looks like it was a perfect day!
Looks like a picture perfect day with the family! what a blessing for all of you! And the food sounds great too!! Happy memories!!
So glad you had this fun time with your family. Looks like everyone was enjoying the pool and the food sounds delicious!
The food sounds absolutely delicious. And I love that pool with the spa and the shower part. I'll pool is not good for kids because the shallow end is only about 4 feet and it's about 5 feet deep and the rest of it is 9 or 10 feet so it's not for swimming not waiting. I love the backyard they've got the way it's set up with that pool
What a lovely day, as your beautiful pictures give testimony. Such sunshine & warmth in April!! Gorgeous!! ~Andrea xoxo
That pool will get lots of use!! Such a fun day it looked like! Glad you guys could come together and celebrate like this!
