Worrying about James and the pool in their yard. I can't stop thinking about it.
The other thing that I find taxing is that I still can't get answers as to why I don't feel well. Saw my cardiologist 7 weeks ago. We decided to get me an angiogram. Talked with them yesterday morning and they are still waiting for dates from the hospital. Things are still slow because of Covid.
Also my pulmonary doctor. I've mentioned him before and my primary doctor said to give him a chance. Well I saw my primary doctor last week and he finally said "forget about him." I had gone in because I needed all of my pulmonary medications ordered because the pulmonary office is incompetent!!!
I am going to see a new doctor on April 30th.
2. I've seen this question asked in various forms on several social media sites...you can only keep three-coffee, jewelry, tacos, wine, books, dogs, chocolate, Netflix, make-up, leggings, cheese, cats....
Which three do you keep and how easy or hard was it for you to decide?
Dogs, Cheese, Netflix a touch of dark chocolate please. Had to have cheese for my pizza!
We are allergic to cats. I'm simple with my jewelry so it wouldn't be missed. I haven't worn make-up much since the shut down except for my eyes so I guess I could do without.
I like leggings but I have other pants that are comfortable. I'm trying not to drink wine or coffee so that would work for now. I haven't read a book in a long time. I like tacos but I could live without them.
3. Tell us something you know or have learned about forgiveness?
It can bring peace to your heart.
4. What's something you'd recommend that is often overlooked and under appreciated?
This is something that I overlook and under appreciate.... It would be sitting down and listening to music. I do it at Christmas and I love it yet seldom do it during the year.
5. Give us a favorite word that starts with letter K and tell us why this is the one you chose.
First of all I cheated and searched for words that start with K. I found a list of 77 positive words because I was drawing a blank here.
So I am going with Knick-knacks. I have been a collector of them for years and years. I love them. Yes they require more work to dust but I cherish each piece when I lift it up to dust under it. Here is an example of a few of my collections.

I think the thing I find most taxing right now is not being able to do some of the work that needs done around here.
Hmmm not sure which three I would choose. Theres a lot there that I like but could do without
Books, Chocolate and Cats. And they go together really well.
I enjoyed your post, and that picture of James in the dog crate is priceless, and also grandpa giving him a bath...that is fun too! the puppy is adorable! Who can resist a sweet puppy? I love books, I still need some makeup as I don't like to see myself in the mirror w/o it, so I am sure others don't like to see me either! LOL. I don't have cats or dogs, but if I did I couldn't give them up I am sure. I don't drink coffee or wine, but don't take away my tea! Oh, I love your Willow Tree figures. I have several and love them. Have a blessed and wonderful day!
I understand your anxiety about the pool. We live on a lake, although it's down the path so not right outside the door. We turn on the door signal when the kids are here and the rule is they have on a life jacket once they exit the garage. I think this is one of those things to commit to prayer. I will add this to mine as well.
I love your knick knacks and James in the cage cracks me up. Beautiful new puppy.
Of course James is my favorite in this post. He is just too cute! Good luck with the new doc!
Oh Debby, I can see your concern about the pool and James. I'm sure they have all the appropriate alarms on doors etc for his safety but it still would be a concern. I'm sure they will have him in swimming lessons if they haven't already. I can't remember; you might have mentioned it before. I know I'm preaching to the choir but the best investment we made was the pool fence but I know a lot of people don't like fencing because it takes away from the look of the pool and that is true.
James is adorable in the dog crate and I'm so glad Mark could finally give him a bath! I loved the wee ones baths when he was over during bath time. I'm glad things are getting back to normal again with you and Mark being able to do the interactive things with James again!
I like all your collections!! So very cute!
I would keep wine, books, and dogs. While I am limiting my wine drinking and go for long stretches without it, I still do enjoy it probably a bit too much :)
Glad you are getting the new pulmonary doctor! About time. I do hope you get answers for your health soon. I keep saying that and I hope one day it does come true!
betty
I am with you on the pool. I am so surprised at the medical situation out there in CA - seems like I thought it was the best place to be.
Love James in the tub.
Love your Knick knacks but would not want to dust. lol
Hope you feel better soon.
I have Willow tree too! James is so cute and I like the picture of him in the crate! Happy Wednesday!
Oh Roxy's little sis is a doll baby! I'll bet they're fast friends before long.
No wine or coffee? Girl, they'd have to lock me up in a padded room.
I'm surprised -- and gratified, too -- that your primary doc finally saw the writing on the wall. I'm no expert, but think that's a biggie; medical folks don't generally turn against one another -- at least not in front of a patient.
Great post
Favorite work that starts with K: Kaitlin, my daughter. That's a no-brainer!
I'm so glad you can visit with your family. The picture of the bath warms my heart.
Have they considered putting a retractable cover over the pool? My son has an electric one over his and it is completely safe when not being used. I collected a few Willow Tree pieces for one of my granddaughters when she was small. I did a different collection for each grandchild. You know I love that precious picture of James. I am so glad you are finally able to get some much missed sweet sugars.
Doctor woes... omg, Debby! All I can think to do is give you a nice big gentle (((((((((((((((hug)))))))))))))))))). Doctor woes absolutely positively suck pickles, BIG time!!!!!!!!! ~Andrea xoxo
Oh boy. Water and toddlers make me real nervous. There was a man made pond on our property that we bought and the first thing we did was to empty it and fill it in because of our grands and the fact that it would draw mosquitoes and rattlesnakes. TMI? I love knick knacks. I found it hard to find a K word. I should have looked them up, too. :) Sorry about how taxing your health and doctors can be.
Cutie.
LOVE seeing James.
I would be worried about the pool as well. Sadly, we had a death of a toddler in our village because of just that. He went outside and fell in the pool. Because we live in such a small community it rattled us all.
I will be praying for you Debby, I do hope you get some answers regarding your health.
Carla
OH NO.....you locked him in the cage!! lol....cute. I love the Wizard of Oz...my fave of all time movie. I have a pretty good collection but I do not have that one. What do I find taxing??? Keeping my house clean. lol
Precious photos...especially the one of Grandpa and James..Glad you captured it for your memories.
Sorry you aren't getting answers for your health difficulties. Maybe the new doctor will be more satisfying.
Life is taxing right now, caring for Hubby and his multi-fractured leg. He's doing well but it's hard to keep a Good Man down!!
Finances, hospital and doctor bills and just general living are taxing too.
My Mantra is One Day at a Time and Trusting the Lord.

Right now I'd say wine, coffee and chocolate but when we get a dog, that would shift. Cheese, though ... I would hate to not have that. So I don't know.
My 3 to keep would be: books, cats, chocolate🤗
