Where would you go? Where do you want to go?
1. Is the farm for you? How about a ranch, a village or a city? Which is your choice and why?
I wouldn't want to work a farm but I do love the setting. I've often thought it would be nice to live in the city in a location where you can walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shopping and a movie theater.
2. A short auto trip for the weekend with friends or a long vacation? Where would you go?
I think a weekend trip can be fun. We really don't have friends that we would hang with. For now I would prefer to drive to Montana and visit with my daughter and son in law.
3. The quiet life at home with a cuppa and TV or a good book or a night out with friends? Which sounds good today?
The quiet life at home with coffee and the TV. I already did that this morning.
4. You have a choice of dinner and a movie or a game of cards and snacks at the neighbors. Where are you going tonight?
I am going to the dinner and a movie. We haven't been since the pandemic started in March of 2020. I really miss that. We use to go almost once a week.

1. A village sounds nice..small enough to get around but big enough that one isn't in everybody's business. I do like people around. All by myself is just too lonely.
2.I like them both. Sometimes a weekend is long enough with friends..I want to STAY FRIENDS...
Long vacations can really be fun but it depends on where and what is being done.
3.Quiet is really nice but once in a while I love being out with our good friends.
4.Dinner and a movie sounds like the perfect "date" for Dave and I.

I've often thought I'd like to live in a nice little village where you could walk to the store, coffee shop, etc., but then again I enjoy my privacy too much to sacrifice having neighbors so close they can hear you snoring at night. LOL. Right now I would enjoy a weekend trip or a long vacation...would just love to go SOMEWHERE, but I'll wait till the cold weather is over before we travel north. I won't go south. We already live in the south, and there's nothing south of us that I care to visit. Just too many tourists and snowbirds. LOL. I would enjoy visiting with friends and playing cards. We haven't done that in a long time. But dinner and a movie would be nice too. Let's go! (I just gotta get over this crud first). LOL.
A farm, ranch or village would work for me but no city. I think I would go nuts living in a city especially a big one.
A day trip sounds good to me. I would love a long vacation but I don't have anyone to go with and going alone doesn't appeal.
I'll pick the quiet life any time.
I'd love to come out and visit you!
I know I am not a farm gal, but I could do a village maybe, though at heart I am suburb of a city type gal. I like the things a city has to offer while being a little remove from it.
I am with you though. My dream trip of choice is to go see our granddaughter!
A trip to Montana.. is on my list for this year. We hope to do it this Autumn. It would be fun to meet in Great Falls.

Think you'll ever go to another movie in the theater, Debby? I know how much you enjoyed them and I always enjoyed reading your reviews. We haven't been to a movie since December 2019. Not so much the pandemic as there is really nothing much I want to see these days.
These days I prefer the shorter trips than a longer one. I don't like being gone too long and I get tired of living out of a suitcase :)

I can answer a few of these at one time with this answer. we never go out in the evening, for anything. I prefer a book over TV but TV is a close second. farm first with ranch a tie or really close. I don't want to work there just visit. sorry you are missing your theater time out, most of ours are shut down and out of business, i think there are 2 left open
I enjoyed your answers and agree with all of them. I live in the city and I can walk almost anywhere I need, at least for day to day needs. I also miss going to the movies though I didn't go as often as you did. I probably watch more movies at home these days but still not as often as some people do. Enjoy the rest of your week.
