1. January 25th is National Opposites Day. 'They' say opposites attract...do you agree, and if so is that a good thing? Or do you subscribe more to a 'birds of a feather' philosophy?
I do think opposites attract. I guess it can be a good thing because you end up learning other ways of doing things or different music, different foods, etc.
2. Something you're glad to have behind you? Something you're glad is ahead of you?
We have been at Adam and Gabby's since last Wednesday. We went home last night. Even though James was with his other grandmother for 3 nights the dogs were exhausting too! Just not being home is exhausting too.
However, I am going to say that I can't wait to see James again soon and I'm glad about that.
3. Your favorite hot food? Cold food? Are you a fan of breakfast for dinner?
I think I have to go with pizza for my favorite hot food. Cold food would be a sandwich or ice cream. Yes, I am a fan of breakfast for dinner.
4. Are you someone who always arrives to appointments/events early or do you tend to run late? Last thing you were late for?
I am always on time! Honestly I can't think of anything I was late for.
5. "What good is the warmth of summer without the cold of winter to give it sweetness?" John Steinbeck....Your thoughts?
It actually sounds good to me. It makes sense. I've never heard this one before.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
It's all about trains for James. We had this ready one night for him after daycare. We had bought the bridge for him when we arrived for our babysitting duties. He already had this train from us for his birthday. He is loving the bridge.....

I don't know if I really have a favorite food. I just love everything. I do love breakfast for dinner too.
I'm always early for everything. If I don't get where I'm going at least 15 minutes early then I feel like I'm late.
That's some train set that James has. I bet he has fun with that.
that bridge is really cool and I would play with it too. i love trains. I am early, always, never been late to anything or late to work in all the years I worked. your answer or hot cold food works for me. Hamburger is a tie for hot though. you know I love the dogs and glad you are home now and resting up. and that means they made it back from Mexico safely.
For sure, I LOVE a good old sandwich and miss them since we've basically cut most bread. I did find a keto bread that's ok though.
I know they're not, but Roxie and Gracie look like identical twins! Too funny about the paw prints on Mark's shirt.
Thanks to my parent's example, I don't recall ever having been late. Early, yes -- but usually I hang out in a nearby parking lot and play games on my phone 'til it's socially acceptable. Ha!
Hot food? I've been craving a GOOD French Onion soup lately, but don't know where to go to find one.
I bet you surely did get a workout between sweet baby James & the dogs! I so agree with what you said about "not being home" is exhausting in and of itself. I'm so glad you're home now but I bet you miss the baby & also the dogs too. It's a catch-22 situation, isn't it. ~Andrea xoxoxo
1. Opposites do make life interesting but I prefer being more in sinc with someone.
2. Due to some financial difficulties life has changed for us. Glad the process is behind us and happy to head into the next season of life.
3. Boy, these are so hard to choose..I do love pizza and a good steak..cold...probably ice cream..so Good and so bad.. (:0) I love breakfast for dinner...have it often.
4. We are always early..when we were in the tour business there was always "spot time"..at least 15 minutes before the early spot time. It does help the brain get in gear.
5. From my devotional book today...
When things seem all wrong, trust Me anyway. I am much less interested in right circumstances than in tight responses to whatever comes your way. John 16:33 and Psalm 112: 4, 7

*** that should read "right" responses NOT tight

Grancdhildren are a delight but like you I'm ready for a nap after several days with my busy boys. Glad you all had fun. Ours love the trains too.
How nice that you could enjoy watching your dear little grand. Fun photo of the dogs watching out for your husband and James! Happy Hodgepodge to you!
Hi Debby, I so agree with #3. And, love all your answers. Have a great week.💕
That train with its track looks really impressive in size! I'm assuming the train goes by itself around the track? I can see why James would like it! Looked like he had a lot of fun with you guys there! Gracie looks like she was a handful indeed! We too like breakfast for dinner; its a nice neat every once in awhile!
Enjoy sleeping back in your own bed!
betty
Two big dogs like that is a lot. But I love James. You are never late? I used to be that way but I am slipping.
You know my husband and I are opposites - some times we attract and sometimes we don't - the older we are the more we want our own way! lol
James is at a fun age, but all that energy can surely wear the old folks out! I can totally relate!!
