Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4 dear friends. I am so glad you are continuing to play along! It can be hard to come up with topics from week to week so your input would be great .
Let's go back to school today...
1. You are back in high school... what are you doing after school lately?
Not much of anything. I didn't study much. My home life was a mess so I don't have a lot of vivid memories. But I was a good girl. I didn't get in trouble.
2. Do you do homework early or late? Did you really study?
Never really did much homework. Same answer as #1.
3. a, Do you go to the games? Football? Basketball.. what is your favorite to attend? b. Do you go to the dances? Prom? (what'd you wear?)
Yes I did go to some football games and I think I also went to some basketball games. Yes I went to my senior prom and I remember some other dances too. We also had some concerts at school. (The Association, Three Dog Night, The Box Tops, America)
Speaking of prom I went with a gangsters son. We all went downtown to Chicago afterwards to a very popular restaurant on Rush Street. The lines were around the corner and we got right in and were placed right in front by the stage.

I don't know that I would want to be back in high school. After school I headed to the mall a lot since I had a job there. I did study some but probably not as much as I should have.
We did go to football games but I don't think we ever sat and watched the game. We usually walked around and socialized.
I love-love-love-love-love your graduation picture, Debby!! Oh my gosh!! If only we could go back there for just a bit, eh? ~Andrea xoxoxo
I love your graduation photo too and I am not surprised about the gangster dinner in Chicago!
You sound like you eat SO INCREDIBLE well!
Hey Rick got his pacemaker/defibrillator put in yesterday and he is doing good. Just thought I'd let you know.
Do you know what happened to that gangster's son? Wonder if he went into the family business. I have seen that Dave's Killer Bread. Just haven't tried it. Might put it on our shopping list next time we need bread. Yum on your favorite sandwich!
Great graduation picture of you too!
Betty
I, too, am wondering about that gangster's son! I shared this with Tom and he wanted to know if you remember the name of that restaurant? Back in the day, his band used to play on Rush: 'Rush Up' and 'Faces.' (Of course, he's going on 80 y/o so that's way before your time!)
A Gangster's son.. oh my Debby ;-) .. LOL .. sounds like there is more of a story here.
I like your graduation photo, such a lovely smile and your hair, wow, it is beautiful.
Love your picture. Your went with a gangster's son...how interesting. Enjoyed your answers.
I love your picture! I do not think I have any graduation pictures. My parents never took pictures. We only have pictures my Grandparents took and then pictures I took when I got my own camera. Loved your answers! Have a nice week!

Oh wow...you got some responses here about the "gangster's son". I also wonder what happened to him...I guess life was a bit different in Chicago than it was in my small town where I grew up in Florida. I'm glad you "survived" that friendship and have a good life today. This was interesting!! 1969? I graduated in 1968!
Hu Debby, I enjoyed your post today! I also liked your grad picture!
