A Variety of Questions for You
Let's do a variety of questions this week, okay?
1. Did you have a favorite cartoon program or character as a young person, or even today?
I know that I loved watching Captain Kangaroo and Bozo the Clown.
2. Can you whole heartedly give people a second chance or do you find yourself still worried about trusting them?
I gave my husband a second chance so I guess my answer is "yes!"
3. Are there things/activities you'd like to add to your life or do you feel you do enough to do, ,going on etc. to keep you satisfied?
Honestly, I would love to add more activities to my life. I just need my body to cooperate.
4. Can you live without your phone, TV, social media?
I would like to give it a try. They did some studies recently and the articles are pretty interesting for social media. HERE and HERE I might be able to live without TV but I wouldn't want to. I think an extra phone is nice to have for emergencies.

I was never much of a cartoon watcher but I did like the shenningans of the Roadrunner. also Sylvester the cat and the silly little mice I can't remember the name of.
the only thing i would like to add to my life is MORE MONEY than we have.
I do believe in 2nd chances but once trust is broken, I never fully trust the person again.
I’m reading a book called The 40 Day Social Media Fast. I’m not fasting, but through these readings, I’m seeing things so much differently. And that has cut my social media time way back!!
When my son was born in 1975 I ordered Bozo tickets - 8 of them. He was about 9 when we got in! Took that in.
Yes I bet you are a forgiving person.
And I would love to walk more - but I have such a difficult time - I need my body to cooperate.
Bozo!!!!!!!!!! Loved that show! That was a regional treasure, for sure! ~Andrea xoxo
It takes a special person (I'm serious when I say this) to be a forgiving person. So that is a wonderful quality you have, Debby! I don't think we watched Bozo the clown when I was growing up but I do remember Captain Kangaroo. I went without Facebook and blogs for about 2 months. It can be done! I admire those who totally walk away from Facebook. I don't think I can do that!
betty
I watched Captain Kangaroo and Bozo too.
We didn't get a tv until I was about 9 or 10 years old.
Didn't watch much but it was the time of the Cisco Kid and the Lone Ranger..Don't remember being plugged into any cartoons. I'm an oldie I guess.
I'm with you in giving hubby a second chance but sometimes it is difficult to get past the hurt and mistrust. I do try though.
I have slowed down quite a bit but would love to do more volunteer work.
I suppose I could live without most of these things but I sure don't want to. I don't want to be tied to them though.
Good questions..thought provoking

It's been so long since I've watched cartoon that I don't recall if I ever had a favorite.
Second chances are tough for me. I think I've been burned too many times and I don't trust easily.
Yes, I can live without my phone, tv and social media. Do I want to? NOPE
I think my favorite cartoons as a kid were Kimba the white lion, and Marine Boy. When my older son was in kindergarten, he and I would watch Pokemon, Batman Beyond, and X-Men together.
I think balance is key with devices and social media. I wouldn't want to give it up entirely. (Obviously, or I wouldn't blog.)
I remember Captain Kangaroo! Simpler times, weren't they?
I loved Captain Kangaroo too, but I really liked Bunny Rabbit who was always getting into some sort of mischief!
Hi,
I have started to do less social media.. Instagram was starting to take my time. I love to blog, and I love my blog friends! I will always blog.
