1. Pantone's color of the year for 2023 is Viva Magenta. Etsy's color(s) of the year are indigo and honeycomb. Your thoughts? Would we find any of these three shades in your home or wardrobe? Is there a room in your house that needs painting this year? Will you do it yourself or hire out?
I am not into the Viva Magenta but I do like Etsy's Indigo and Honeycomb. No I do not have those shades in my home at this time. We do have some painting we could do and Mark would do it.
2. Something you had to do recently that could be described 'as exciting as watching paint dry'?
Off hand I can't think of anything other then a doctors appointment on Monday. I was there for one and half hours. We were doing a breathing test and then a breathing treatment with the test again.
I had to get a steroid shot for my lungs since they didn't respond to medication. Starting to feel better. Good news is that my lung function has improved by 12 points since 2020.
3. Who would you most like to sit beside on a 10-hour flight? Tell us why? Have you ever taken a 10-hour flight?
I don't have a clue but I'm sure a movie start would be fun although they would not be in coach with me....LOL! I believe our flight to Europe/London years ago was a little over 10 hours.
4. What's something you did growing up that would get you into trouble?
That a good question. Maybe talking too loud. It still gets me in trouble.
5. According to Google the top searches in 2022 were- Wordle, election results, Betty White, Queen Elizabeth, Bob Saget, Ukraine, Mega Millions, Powerball numbers, Anne Heche, and Jeffrey Dahmer.
Hmmm...what does this say about us? How many of these words did you search last year? What would you guess was your most 'googled' word/phrase/question.
I'm thinking I definitely Googled Queen Elizabeth and most likely Googled Bob Saget and Anne Heche also.

Happy Birthday to Gabby. about the 10 hour flight, i would want my kindle full of books and buy both seats so no one would bother me. I can think of NO ONE I would want to sit/talk to for 10 hours. I have done 10 hour car trips with Bob, with my mother, with my cousin Brenda. I can tell you who I would not do another trip with, cousin brenda.
I did google the queen during the time of her funeral, more than a few times. I googled her horses, her dogs etch. have never googled any of the others. the thing i google most is older actors ages and when watching movies, google to find out who the actor is that i can't remember the name.
If my jeans count as indigo I am all set.

How encouraging to get that news about your lungs function! I'm all the time cautioning Tom to lower his voice. Probably, b/c his hearing is compromised he thinks he has to speak louder.

I love reading all things Royal Family related so I know I googled the Queen. Happy birthday to your daughter-in-law. What a blessing to have an in-law that loves your child well!

I have no desire to sit next to celebrities but just my family would be my choice.
I have taken quite a few 10+ hour flights. The longest was to Kenya. With all the layovers and changing of planes it turned into almost 30 hours. We were all pretty "dinging" by the time we landed.
I use Google mostly for spelling and words to old songs. I use the songs when I am doing my elder care for my friend.

That's terrific news about the improvement with your lung function, Debby! My word for last year was "breathe" as I suffered with a frightening bout with pneumonia in January. I'm so thankful for every breath I take, as I know you are.

Great, I'm glad to hear your lung function is getting better. I recently had injections for my lower back. They said I would have relief for 1-24 hours. I had relief for about an hour. I go back in 3 weeks to do it again. Eventually, I will have an ablation.
I would love to sit beside some movie star on a flight. But, you are right, they wouldn't ride in coach.
I always got in trouble talking in class. Even having to write 500Xx "I will not talk while the teacher is talking" did not deter me.
