I'm going to go with a chocolate candy bar. I haven't had any lately but if I did it would be a dark chocolate ball from See's or a few peanut butter M&M's. I do like chocolate.
3. What has surprised you recently?
I am very surprised at some of the decisions that are being made in California concerning the children in school. Everything these days seems to be about control and I want my grandson to grow up like we did back in the day.
4. September 19th is National Voter Registration Day in the US. Are you registered to vote in whatever state or country you happen to live in right now? If not, why not? Not counting a political race, what's something you've had to vote on recently?
Yes, I am a registered voter. I had to do some voting a few weeks ago at bowling. We changed a few of the rules. I guess I could also say I voted on what we were going to order for dinner at Adam and Gabby's one night.
5. Do you like to hike? If so, when's the last time you went hiking and where'd ya go? If you're not a hiker are you a walker? Is walking (for exercise, etc.) part of your daily/weekly routine?
I used to enjoy hiking but unless it is extremely flat I just can't it is anymore with my COPD. Walking is not part of my daily exercise but I try to walk on my treadmill several times a week. With my lungs I do better indoors and we live on top of a hill so I can't really walk outside.

I love chocolate but haven't had any since I started the new diet.
I think the things they are doing in school these days are crazy. They need to let children be children and stop filling their heads with things that shouldn't be there.

brownie would be my choice of those listed, no chocolate since Jan 26, 2017 or sugar. don't know any thing songs, but is there is one called Hellish, that would do.. agree with you about the schools. James will love the grand dad puzzle. i love to walk in the woods, but have no one to go with me, so have not been in about 6 years. i don't call what i do hiking just walking on paths with trees.
I do love chocolate, Debby, but try to limit my intake. Fantastic puzzle, too - another great gift idea!

I can't think of a song either but it's got to be something like Find a wheel and it goes round and round..that's the way my world has been going..just round and round.
I do like chocolate and will take a Hot Fudge sundae any day.
Don't get me started on my crazy state of California. What's being put into law and into the schools is awful and certainly not my choice or what I have voted for. From Gov. Newsome on down is pretty evil. (sorry, I never post political things) But this lady is so fed up that I just had to rant.
Do like to hike but now mostly just walk.

I love the puzzle! I had one made for my mom and my mother-in-law last Christmas of all their great grandchildren. It turned out so cute and I think that was their favorite gift. The world gets crazier by the day. I'm in a red state so a little less crazy than California, but we're all affected by these ideologies that I just don't understand.
Hi Debby, that puzzle is a good idea. I think my grands would like of our dogs. My younger two grands go to a Christian school. My older two are doing well at their highschooler. Times sure have changed since we were in school.

My grandson scared the shits out of me which he often does only yesterday by standing at the front door just watching me till I noticed and screamed.
Being an Aussie voting is compulsory and we vote again next month in a referendum.
