Thank you Joyce.
1. What's something that scares you?
Obviously loosing loved ones. My health is kinda scaring me right now too. Of course the state of our country has me really scared also.
2. Do you care where the food you eat comes from? To what degree?
I guess I'm going to say yes to that question and I do like to purchase organic when I can.
3. What's something you wish you'd spent more time doing when you were younger?
Liking myself and having more confidence in myself.
4. Let's play autumn this or that....pumpkin spice or apple cider? Corn maze or haunted house? Horror film or Hallmark movie? Blanket or sweatshirt? Watch football or watch the World Series? Foilage-red, yellow or orange?
Pumpkin Spice - Corn Maze - Hallmark Movie - Blanket - Football - Yellow
5. This time last year where were you and what were you doing?
We were home, hadn't traveled anywhere at the time.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
My Birthday was yesterday. I turned 72! We had a nice celebration on Sunday with Adam, Gabby, James and Gabby's mom Isa.
It is always fun getting all the messages on Facebook and the cards I got in the mail from family and friends not to mention the flowers and See's candy boxes.
On Sunday after dinner in the town of Orange we went into a store that had some Halloween decorations and James fell in love with his skeleton hand so I bought it for him. Gabby's got the whole house decorated.
Just to keep you updated, I am still having issues with my lungs and was back in the ER last Friday. All tests keep looking good. Was given a new steroid shot that they use now if the prednisone shot isn't working.
Feeling better but not near where I need to be yet. I've missed two weeks of bowling and hopefully I am going to be there today. Girls are taking me out to lunch.
Also, Mark's knee surgeon was extremely impressed with the progress Mark has made. No more brace and he can now drive. Only about 8 more weeks of physical therapy, maybe 12. He expected Mark's knee bend to maybe get to 105 or 110 and he is actually passed 120! He can even kneel now.

that is fantastic news about Marks knee. wow! so happy he can drive now... I know you are too. I am sorry I missed your birthday yesterday, i did not get the email about your birthday, will take care of the FB greeting next.
My answers to 1, 2, 3 are identical to yours. although my easy answer for what scares me is just about everything. right now I am fearing nursing homes because Bob and I are aging faster than the speed of light.
I sound like Sandra - I am thrilled for Mark and YOU - that has to help a lot now that he can drive. He made a terrific recovery.
I am so sorry I missed your birthday yesterday too - HAPPY BIRTHDAY - and now we have to get your well. It must be scary not being able to breathe so well. I am so sorry.
I am scared about the country and that it may be turning from God.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
YEAY for Mark's extraordinary progress! What a relief that must be for you, Debby.
Wish I'd thought to answer "the state of our Country" like you. I don't know whether to be frightened or disgusted. (After watching Newsmax's coverage yesterday afternoon, I'm leaning towards disgusted.)
If I'd have had even a smidgen of confidence in high school there's no telling how my life might have evolved.
Enjoy those See's candies!
Wow! I know you are so happy for Mark's progress!! I'm sorry you are still having health issues! I know that is so frustrating!!
Keep healing, birthday Girl!!! Great news about Mark's knee, too. Getting older certainly is not for sissies, is it?
Such fun to see James' smiling face again, too.
Blessings, Debby!
Happy Birthday Debby!!! Continuing to pray that you feel better soon. Yay for Mark.. that is good news.
Happy October to you! And thank you for sharing James with us. :-)
Carla
First off...HAPPY BIRTHDAY...I'm glad you could celebrate with family.
So glad there is good news about Mark's knee. Wonderful fast recovery. Sorry about your continued trips to ER. I hope they can get things squared away for you.
1. Ghoulish things scare me and the state of our state (CA)
4. pumpkin spice - corn maze (last time I did one was in 2001) - Hallmark movie - either one works for me. wear sweatshirts alot and snuggle in a blanket to watch tv in the winter times. - yellow love the colors of fall all together.
5. I think we were doing yard work, just the same as this year. Trying to get things cleaned up before the weather turns.
Sue
Happy Belated birthday to you.
Awesome news about Marc
I can't choose between pumpkin spice or apple cider. I like both
I'll go with corn maze
Hallmark movies
Sweatshirt
no football or world series, I'll just watch another Hallmark movie.
I like all three of the fall colors.
That's wonderful news about Mark! I'm so glad he's doing well, and I know you're especially glad he can drive again. Sounds like you had a nice birthday. Wishing you a happy healthy year ahead!
I like your answers to these questions, mine would be............
Snakes as well as the thought of not seeing my family members
Nope don't care where it comes from just that we have food to eat as many don't.
I wish I had travelled when I was younger
Can't remember a year ago
