2. What's something many people seem to love, but to you feels like 'watching the grass grow'?
I'm drawing a blank here.
4. It's been said, 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder.' Agree or disagree? Explain.
I definitely agree. It was a hard time back in 1989 when we moved to Southern California. Definitely missed my family and sad now that I took my kids away from the family and their cousins.
Now that our kids are grown it has been hard for me having Amber and Dylan living in Montana. Of course I miss them terribly and the fact that they are missing out on seeing a lot of James and him getting to know how awesome they are.
5. Are there any festive spring events in your city or town? If so, will you take advantage of them?
None that I know of but there probably is. We just don't do those kind of things.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I started physical therapy on my back. It was a good workout. I will be going once a week and then doing the exercises daily at home. It is mainly about stretching the back muscles and then riding the recumbent bike and I do have one at home. I will continue to walk on my treadmill too.
Enjoy the rest of your week.

I can walk on the ground without pain, but the treadmill walking makes my back worse. glad you are doing the therapy, prayers for it to help with your back.
no mint for me, I do drink peppermint tea but I don't like it.
any and all sports watching is like watching paint dry or grass grow. hindsight is always better than foresight, about moving the kids away, I can look back and see many things I made the wrong choices, but that was then and this is now, we are in the it is what it is stage of life.
Glad you are in PT - and the work out sounds good for you!
I like mint - the Girl Scout thin mints too.
Spring cleaning - I might do a little.
I am so glad you have started your purging - I swear the more you do the better and lighter you feel.
Love, sandie
Sounds like the PT is truly working for you, Debby. That's great news!
Blessings, my friend!
I may not be as old but I highly agree that stretching is key. Everything I read basically says no one is stretching as much as they should be. I've been setting timers on my phone at work to remind me to do it.
Hooray for progress in purging. I like mint chocolate chip ice cream, too. Sounds like some good therapy! Happy Spring!
It sounds like you are making progress on several fronts and that does make you feel good, doesn't it. Our son and his family live away from us too, as you know and the family not be able to share a closeness and experiences is one of my greatest concerns. Keep up the good work and I do hope the therapy makes a huge difference in the way you feel.
It is so hard to live far from family. I understand that's the way of the world now, but it's still tough. I'm glad you're getting some relief for your back pain. Have a wonderful day Debby!
We have been going through drawers and closets for some time..its a great feeling when it is done.
Watching golf is quite boring for me..
Love Girl Scout thin mints and chocolate chip mint ice cream is a "Go-To" for me.
We really miss our son and his family that live in Oregon..so far!! I am grateful for face time and the internet.
So glad things are improving health wise for you. Keep up the stretching and walking. A+++

Glad to hear you've started physical therapy. It really does make a difference. Once you know the exercises, it's easy to do it at home. My problem is always staying motivated to keep doing the exercises.
Happy to hear that PT is going well, I pray it will continue to do so.
I like Chip Mint Ice Cream, so does my son Atticus.
xx oo

So glad to read, "it feels good" on your purging project!
I've only done PT once (for frozen shoulder), but remember it being no walk in the park. (I may have referred to them as physical terrorists. LOL)
Those GS thin mints were sooo good. I don't buy them anymore because I can't be trusted to eat just one.
I have never done spring cleaning and the one task I hate is cleaning the oven.
Cricket mostly but sport in general.
I do like mint most things like choc mint ice cream or mint chocolate.
A short absence may do that, but I am really not sure.
The beautiful spring has arrived (but not for me)and when nature resumes her loveliness the human soul is apt to revive also.
Hello! Happy Spring! I wish I liked mint more. I just really don't! I am more of a lemon and lime gal! Have a cozy evening.
I'm so glad the PT is working, and I wish your family lived closer. ❤️
I miss my grown children that live in another state just terribly, and while I'm not sure it makes me fonder of them, but I think I treasure time spent with them even more. As you mentioned, it's very hard to not be close to my grandchild. Hope the therapy continues to help you - Happy Spring!
I like mint in my wife's Asian noodle soup she prepares for me.
God bless!
