2. What's in the trunk of your car right now?
Actually right now there are bags for grocery shopping and a towel. In a few weeks my bowling bag will be in there for 9 months. Having a Mini Cooper means I have a small trunk.
3. Summer foods vs. fall foods...which do you prefer?
I think I prefer summer food but truthfully I could eat either one all year long.
Would you rather-watermelon or caramel apple? iced coffee or pumpkin spiced latte? potato salad or sweet potato casserole? barbecued ribs or roast turkey? ice cream sandwich or apple pie? corn on the cob or candy corn?
I will take the watermelon. I will take the iced coffee. Hard to pick between potato salad or sweet potato casserole. I will take roast turkey. I am not a BBQ person. I will take the ice cream sandwich. I will take corn on the cob. However, I do enjoy a few pieces of candy corn.
4. August 7th is National Lighthouse Day. Have you visited any lighthouses? Do you have a favorite? Is a lighthouse something you seek out if you're visiting an area known for theirs?
I have seen several lighthouses over the years. I can't say I have a favorite. I do think they are awesome and if I happen to see one I would definitely go and visit it.
5. Light at the end of the tunnel, out like a light, give the green light, a lightbulb moment, in a new light, in the limelight...of the 'light' idioms listed which applies in some way to your life lately? Explain.
I am going to go with light at the end of the tunnel. Praying for my health issues to settle down and also my depression and anxiety to leave me.

We made it to Amber and Dylan's on Monday evening. It is so wonderful to be here with them. I don't take many pictures on the drive anymore but I did take two.

I have to be honest - I don't think I have seen a light house - cool you have seen a few.

Oh, that pizza looks so good! I'm not fond of yams, so would be reluctant to try a sweet potato casserole. I should put that on my Possibilities list.

Pretty roadside shots. I’ve never had a Chicago style pizza! Even when I was in Chicago I didn’t order one. Looks good but I prefer a thinner crispy crust.
