1. Hey, it's October...what's one fun thing on your October calendar? 

I have two fun things. My birthday is tomorrow. I'll be 73 and we are going out to dinner on Saturday with Adam, Gabby and James. 

Then the next Saturday, which is the 12th, there will be a 6th birthday celebration for James. His birthday is on the 16th. It will be a Airplane party. He loves planes.

This is from several weeks ago. 

We send them to the house for him!

Actually we were in Houston with them from an early flight on Saturday to arriving back in California on Monday evening visiting my mother-in-law. I will do a post about that when I can. However I will share a sneak peek of James in the cockpit of the plane.

2. Thursday is National Poetry Day (first Thursday in October)...do you like to read poetry? If so, what's a favorite poem, or whose poetry do you especially enjoy? 

I'm not really a big fan but there is one that I liked from Four Weddings and a Funeral. I will put in the the random thought. 

3. Tell us about something you've seen recently that could be described as 'poetry in motion'. 

I'm really not sure how to answer this one. 

4. What's one song on your autumn playlist? Do you have an autumn playlist? If not, pretend you do. If yes, then feel free to share more than one. 

I don't have an autumn playlist. I will just go with Harvest Moon by Neil Young. 

5. Share a quote that inspires you this time of year especially. 

Again, I don't have anything.

PS: I was gone for 3 long days. Didn't have my computer and I had about about 160 blog posts when I got back to read. I have a few that I will be reading but I certainly cannot read them all. I know that you understand.
