2. Do you like honey? What's something you make or enjoy that calls for honey?
I like honey but I seldom use it.
3. "Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body." Proverbs 16:24
What's a proverb you love, or one that speaks to you or has helped you in some way?
The Bible is full of Proverbs, a whole book in fact, if that helps with your answer. The word proverb is defined as 'a short pithy saying in general use, stating a general truth or piece of advice'.
Proverbs 3:5 " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
Proverbs 4:23 "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
4. Tell us about a 'sweet' moment in your life recently that filled you with joy, gratitude, or peace.
Actually seeing James on Friday night. We played Bunko and he was on a roll for sure. He won almost every game we played and that made him so happy. The excitement in his face is priceless when he wins.
Also we went in and said our goodnights to him in bed but when we were actually leaving he came out and hugged us at the door. It was so precious.
He plans on having his birthday party in San Diego in cabins that you rent and the kids can ride their bikes all around. He was recently there with his cousins. Anyway, he told Papa Friday night to make sure that grandma brings the dice!
5. When you were a child, what did you want to 'be' when you grew up? How close did you come to that?
All I ever wanted to me was a wife and mother, and that is exactly what I got. (Except for the six years we were divorced and I was a single mom.)
6. Insert your own random thought here.
James has a book that you match up the pieces with numbers on them to create pictures. He had this one waiting for me when we arrived.

Sounds like some fun birthday plans. I enjoy games and it's fun to play some of them with my grands now that they're old enough for that. I haven't tried Bunco with them, but I bet they'd like that. Have a great day Debby!
What a fun place to have a party! And I love the art picture he made for you!
Great art creation!
Proverbs 3:5 is one of my all-time favorites.
Hi Debby,
I picked the Proverbs 4:23 as well.
The birthday plans sound fantastic.
I love the gift from James.

You are so lucky you get to see James often and be a physical part of his life. Now just remember to bring the dice to the birthday celebration.
It’s hard to pick one or two favorite proverbs. Proverbs 16:9 In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
Another one proverbs 31;10-31. Too long to write out but it describes the wife of noble character. Love that!
James is so sweet - What an important role you play in his life!
Proverbs 3:5 has long been one of my favorites, Debby. Sounds like James' birthday will be extra special spent at those cabins, too. Blessings!
How to choose a special Proverbs... All that you chose and that Debby Shasta are really perfect for me too.
James is such a gem. I'm so glad you can see him often.
We are busy as bees trying to get things ready for a garage sale when son Mark comes in June. Lots of junk (treasures) to go through and eBay keeps us hopping too. Wish more would sell though.
I love that picture that James did..perfect for you since you collect giraffes.
Happy Hump Day.

It's so much fun to play games with our grands! That is a cute picture James had waiting for you. That sounds like that would be a fun birthday party in San Diego with cousins and bikes! :) Hope you have a good Memorial Day weekend.
James knows you love giraffes. I love this Proverb, "Proverbs 3:5 " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
I am okay with honey, but I don't eat a lot of it either.
So, you are going to stay at James birthday party too? Wonderful.
Hi Debby, I love that verse too! James is the light in your life. I am sure his birthday will be a ton of fun! I used to use dice to help the kids with their math problems when they were young. I need to find some games since my grands are coming over this weekend. Enjoy the rest of the week and stay cool. I added pics at my blog of my Bible journaling. I know you said you liked it.
Again, I’m so glad you are an important part of James’ life. That connection is such a blessing to you both. ❤️
That picture of the giraffe is so cool.
sounds like a great way to celebrate James birthday and glad you had fun and got hugs and kisses and can bring those dice. I wanted to be a cowboy, NOT a cowgirl. I was heavy into reading Tarzand and Westerns. ha ha.
Enjoyed your answers....and the stories about James just make us all smile. Bring sure to bring the dice!!:)
that book looks neat. I think my grandson would love that. Enjoyed your answers.
