2. Someone is sending you a dozen roses...what color are you hoping for? Are you someone who gets accused of seeing the world through rose colored glasses? Is your accuser correct? Elaborate.
Yellow. I don't believe I see too many things through rose colored glasses these days.
3. June 4th is National Cheese Day...will you celebrate? What's something (besides a burger) you make in the summer months that calls for cheese?
I haven't been eating a lot of cheese lately except for some string cheese. Watching my cholesterol. I'm going to go with some cheese on a low sodium chicken sandwich with spinach.
4. 'tis the season...any weddings on your June calendar? What's the first word that comes to mind when I say marriage?
No, but we had just been to the wedding in Georgia in April. I guess I will go with our Anniversary. We've been married twice and our Anniversaries are both on June 24th. I think we will be in the car driving to Montana that day.
5. What are you most looking forward to this June?
I would say the trip to Great Falls, Montana to visit with Amber, Dylan and their dog Finley for several days.
We are also going to celebrate Father's Day next weekend with Adam, Gabby and James since they will be on a cruise for Father's Day.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
You have to read this, it's from James' teacher. His last day of school was on Friday and he will be in first grade next year.
James had 2 soccer games on Saturday. I wasn't there but he did score 2 goals. I believe this was the end of the soccer for him this season, although they were talking about joining a new team.
I saw James this past Monday night since Mark flew back from Canada and flies into the airport near their house. Since he gets in later, I don't like driving in the dark so Adam will be taking me when he picks him up and then Mark can drive my car home from there.
James went to the airport with us. He couldn't wait to see Papa. We got there early because traffic was light and so we waited in the cell phone parking lot. Then James said he had to go to the bathroom. Anyway Mark got his luggage, we went and got him and then he took him inside to go potty.
It was a nice evening. James and I even played Bunko before we went to get Mark. He won all the games!

I know you are proud of James. What a nice report from his teacher! It's fun to have a trip on the calendar and I hope you have a nice visit this month with your daughter and son-in-law. Have a good day!
What a wonderful report from James’ teacher. You have a right to be proud! I hope your trip is a great one.
James got high praise from his teacher. That's awesome. It amazes me how much they learn in Kindergarten. Back when I was that age it was milk, cookies, story time and nap time.
I don't see anything through rose colored glasses either. I simply don't put on the glasses so that I don't see anything...negative anyway. *haha* ~Andrea xoxo PS. not fair he is so handsome and so smart at the same time. we don't do birthdays or holidays, and not trips since 2005, so that pretty much answers all the questions with one sentence. Glad Mark made it home and you had a great time getting him from the airport
Hi Debby, it is fun to keep up with James, I just cannot believe how fast he is growing!
I am glad Mark made it home and did not have troubles with the fires. Our sky is still smoke filled from the fires.

Awww . . . James seems like such a smart, sweet boy. What lovely feedback to receive!
I'd love to get back to Montana sooner than later.
I can't believe its almost Father's Day. This year is really flying by.
I feel like we all love your James and are also proud of all his accomplishments. He is indeed a special little boy. I trust you have a safe and enjoyable trip to Montana.
Such a glowing report from James' kindergarten teacher! He will go far in life, Debby, you can be sure of that. Have a great time in Montana, too!
What a wonderful report from James' teacher. You have one smart adorable guy there.
We usually celebrate birthdays by going out to dinner with son and daughter in law. Really any excuse to go out to eat together..
No weddings in June but younger son, daughter in law and 1 grandchild will be here from Oregon on Fathers Day so that is a gift in itself.
Going to Montana to see family is such a fantastic celebration for your 2 anniversaries. It will be so nice to be together.

Way to go, James, in scoring those goals for your team! Welcome home to your hubby. Going to visit your family in Montana is a great thing to look forward to. Happy June to you!
Nothing done here for birthdays, I do like cheese my favourite is Colby, had to Google string cheese as I was drawing a blank as to what it is, yeah we have it here and yeah I like it and eat it, I was just having a moment when I read string cheese. James is doing so well at school you must be so proud of him
What an outstanding grandson, your James! He's brought so much joy to your life.
Other than baby Chloe, our family birthday celebrations have definitely been low-key; everyone seems satisfied with having a nice dinner and conversation.
I wish I didn't enjoy cheese so much, lol!
James has a bright future! I’m not surprised at all with all the teacher said. And for a teacher to say she is impressed? Wow. James has 2 wonderful parents who engage with him and you and Papa. He really is a blessing.
James is an adorable boy, who has an incredibly bright future. I envy all the time you get with him, but I know you truly appreciate it.
That report card is fantastic! He's not only smart, he's a wonderful boy.
I've always wanted to go to Montana. I enjoyed your answers this week.
