2. Do you have a favorite mug? Let's see it. Why is this one your favorite?
I love collecting things with mushrooms on them.
3. July 15th is/was National Give Something Away Day...will you (or did you, depending on what day you answer these questions) give something away? If so what? Do you regularly give away or do you tend to 'accumulate'?
I won't be doing this on July 15th but yes we do give away things to The Salvation Army. We have some bags in the garage that need to go there.
4. You're planning a trip. Do you prefer exploring big cities or smaller, more off the grid towns? World Atlas lists these 12 'off the grid' towns to see in 2025. How many on the list have you seen? Of those listed which one would you most like to visit? Tell us why?
Boothbay Harbor Maine, Middlebury Vermont, New Hope Pennsylvania, Rehoboth Beach Delaware, Brevard North Carolina, Saugatuck Michigan, Medora North Dakota, Ouray Colorado, Lamoille Nevada, Neah Bay Washington, Hood River Oregon, or Cambria California
*You can read more about each destination by clicking the link above.
I'm not sure but I think that both big cities or smaller would both be okay to explore. I can't seem to pick one.
5. Have you ever...ridden a motorcycle? been to a Disney park? met a celebrity? won a contest? Tell us something about whatever you answered yes to on this list.
I road on a motorcycle once in high school and it was not a good experience. Yes I've been to both Disney parks in the US. Yes I have meet a few celebrities.
Mark was on a business trip in Florida so I got to spend a few days at Disney World and I had a wonderful time all by myself.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
So my lungs are not good. I'm going through something extremely hard right now. I am unable to do much without being winded. This is the worst I can remember. I am having a lung exacerbation.
"An exacerbation of the lung, particularly in COPD, refers to a sudden worsening of symptoms, often described as a flare-up. This involves a temporary but significant increase in severity of breathing difficulties, coughing, and mucus production, requiring medical intervention."
We will be doing testing to see how much worse my lungs have gotten. Sadly it is going to take about a month to wean off the steroids I have been on. Way too many since the beginning of June which have caused my ankles to swell daily, dehydration and weakness in my legs. Not to mention that I get winded quickly and can hardly do anything around the house.
I saw my lung doctor on Monday. Pray that my numbers are not to low when I get tested next Monday. Depression has definitely set in and I am sorry but I just don't have it in me to read blog posts. I miss all of you so much. I have tried to read some and I will continue to work on that. I know you are all okay with this but I'm not.

I'm so sorry to hear about the lung issues. I'm praying they can find something to give you some relief.
I like your mug. My daughter-in-law loves mushrooms also. She would like that one.
Thinking of you Debby. Prayers!
Debby you just take care of yourself and don't worry about commenting. I will continue to pray for healing and improvement.
Awwww (((((((Debby)))))), hang in there sweet lady!! You've had a real go of it, particularly since June. I know you must be down about life right now. I had an internet friend who died after a long bout with cancer. Her motto was: Find something positive in each day. If you can't find it, create it. Do something that makes you happy. This I wish for you, dear heart! My prayers continue. Love, Andrea xoxo
Hi Debby,
Take care of YOU!!
Sending lots of hugs and prayers.

Take care Dear Friend.

I didn't know you collected items with mushrooms on them.
I hope your tests show you are getting better and can start to wean off steroids. Steroids can make you depressed too. You are in a vicious cycle. Continued prayers coming.
Oh Debby I’m so sad that you’re going through such a health struggle with your lungs, and the depression. I do pray that your numbers are just right where they should be. Just rest and get well. We’ll still be here. Love you!
We love you, Debby! Don't worry about trying to keep up with our blogs at such a stressful time like this. Praying that the doctor can take you off the steroids sooner than later and that your lung function will greatly improve. Get some rest, too!
I didn't know you were a fan of mushrooms. That mug is adorable!
Still praying!
You went to Disneyworld by yourself? That's impressive! I'd be too scared to go alone.
I'm sorry you're not feeling well and having to go through so much. COPD is a hard thing to fight. I'll continue to pray for healing, and that you'll be encouraged! Lot's of prayers going up to the Throne for you!
I'm so sorry to hear you have COPD! I don't know much about that but I do know it can be horrible. I am going to pray for you. That God would guide the doctors you see, that they would have wisdom in how to treat you and that you would know the peace of God.
I wouldn't worry about trying to comment on people's blogs!! Take care of your self!!
I'm so sorry to read about your lungs, Debby. That is so hard. I'm praying right now for you. Don't worry about visiting...
