2. October is Country Music Month...are you a fan of country music? Do you have a favorite country artist? Ever been to Nashville? In terms of lifestyle are you more country mouse or city mouse?
I do like some songs and a few singers, but for some reason I have never been a big fan. I have never been to Nashville. Hard to say, I could be a little of each mouse.
3. How about 'country cooking'? (loosely defined as rich flavors, familiar foods, large portions, often fried, and often associated with the southern region of the US of A)?
chicken and dumplings-fried chicken-shrimp and grits-biscuits and gravy-mac and cheese-fried green tomatoes-cornbread-collard or turnip greens-deviled eggs-'barbecue'-gumbo-banana pudding
Which of the foods listed is your favorite? Any on the list you haven't tried or would say a firm no thank you to if offered?
I can't really say that we do any country cooking. We both grew up with Bohemian food like pork, dumplings and sauerkraut.
4. What's something that always has a positive impact on your mood?
You all know the answer to this one, it is James. We were there on Saturday and I will write a post about my birthday celebration with them. He baked some chocolate chip cookies so he was eating one and they were very good. Not sure if they were made from scratch.
5. As we say so long to September share a noun, a verb, and an adjective that tells us something about how that month looked for you.
I have no clue how to answer this.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
We left for Montana on Tuesday. This post will show up but I'm not sure I can link it but I will try in the hotel room in the morning. I also will not be around reading posts while I'm gone. Thank you for understanding.

Also for those of you that do not know this, I posted this on Facebook recently. My MRI of my pelvis, which the doctor had done because of my leg pain, showed a cyst on my ovary and my colon was swollen. So now I have more issues to deal with. I called and set up appointments for when we get back. Like I've said before, this is not my year and I would appreciate your prayers.
Thank you so much.
Love, Debby

So sorry to hear about the added health issues. I had an ovarian cyst years ago. They can cause a lot of pain.
What discouraging news about the MRI results! I'm praying right now, Debby.
I hope you and Mark are having a wonderful visit with "the kids"!
Hi Debby, I am sorry about your news regarding the MRI results. I am praying.
I hope your trip to Montana is full of fun memories.
Love, Carla
I'm sorry to hear about your MRI results. Enjoy Montana!
I"m sorry to hear about your MRI results. Good news is that usually ovarian cysts are removed easily. (my newborn 2nd daughter had to have one removed....ended up with just one ovary and one fallopian tube but praise God it was benign. She was 10 weeks old!!). I will pray for you!!
LOVE Xmas Balsam. We choose not to eat southern country fried foods either although I do like old fashioned mac and cheese a few winter evenings.
Have a good weekend
I'm sorry to hear your results, prayers for you.
Hope your trip goes well. Nice to visit you today and to see a picture of James.
Praying for your health, Debby, and for safe travels! James is so cute with that chocolate chip cookie, too. Blessings!
so sorry there are yet more health issues for us to pray about. glad you have James to make you happy,
Hi Debby, I hope you are having a nice time with your family. I will be praying about your new issues. James looks cute as always and now I want a chocolate chip cookie.
Oh so sorry about the continuing health issues. Hope they will be able to take care of the problems and you can enjoy life better.
Yes, James is so special and I'm glad he's in your life.
Enjoy your time in Montana. Beautiful country.
Sue
Oh boy, Debby. How frustrating you must feel having more health issues crop up. The good is that at least they found out what it was and you can now look forward to whatever they gave to do to help you. Yeah it’s just one more thing added to your plate, but you will get through it and things will get better. Sometimes it feels like we’re stuck in a never ending cycle of bad health but just know, this too shall pass. I’m praying for good health and strength to get through it all. None of this takes God by surprise. Just trust Him.
Continued prayers!
I'm sorry about the MRI results and hope you have a good visit in spite of your health. I will keep praying for you and wish I could do more.
Hopefully the cyst is nothing and you can get things taken care of when you get home. I'm sure it feels like one more thing but you can do it. Enjoy your time with your daughter and celebrating your birthday with her.
I love candles too Debby. I listen to Christian Music all day long. Also, I do like some country foods, but how can I not - living in GA. James like chocolate chip cookies. And I do know of your new health issues - have you made any appointments yet?
