1. 'The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.' How does this saying ring true in your own family, either the one you grew up in or the one you made?
I'm going to go with how you feel about people and the love that you give to them. I take after my dad who was so kind and loving to everyone. However, right now, with all the health issues I've been going through this year, I have not been as loving as I should be.
2. Something you're nuts about these days? How about something that's driving you nuts?
I am, as you know, nuts about James. It is such a blessing to have a grandchild.
This may sound crazy to you but Facebook is driving me crazy. I love the way it was when it was new to me and people posted family pictures and things that they were doing. Some people who I follow still do that, but now it seems like everything is AI that some people are posting, not that much about themselves.
3. What does abundance mean to you?
It means love to me. I have an abundance of love for my family.
4. Caramel apple-caramel cake-caramel corn-caramel sundae-caramel macchiatto...what's your caramel treat of choice?
I would choose the caramel apple.
5. What's a childhood memory that always comes to mind as the leaves start to fall?
When I was young the leaves would be raked to the street into a pile and we would jump into those piles of leaves.
6. Insert. your own random thought here.
As you know, we have been visiting Amber and Dylan in Montana. We will be driving home when this posts and I will try to link up but I won't be reading many posts.

I feel the same way about FB these days. It's mostly ads and reels from people I don't know. You have to really work to see posts your own friends make. Safe travels home and I hope you had a wonderful visit!
Hi Debby, I am not on FB or Instagram or any other social. I just like to blog. I feel blogging is still REAL, and so many of us have been friends here for so long. I hope it does not change, because I would miss you and our other blog friends.
Safe travels my dear friend.
Carla
Safe travels, Debby!
I hope you’re enjoying your trip to Montana. I bet it’s really looking like Fall up that way!
Facebook - I used to love it in the beginning but I left in 2021. Just a major time waster. All through 2020 I kept thinking why am I here? If friends truly want to keep in touch, they will. We don’t need facebook for that but that is the lure that keeps people there. It’s garbage.
I can say my life has become so much more peaceful and content since leaving. It did take about a month of withdrawals!
Safe travels!! And, yes, we know you are nuts about that cute James!!:)
Safe travels Debby. I'm so glad you could visit family. Love your answers to the questions.
I think I have to agree with your answers too.
I do love the Fall and that the trees around here do change. There is such beauty.
I do love anything caramel and I agree that you are one of the most loving people I know.

have a safe trip home.. glad you got to go. I loved raking leaves and burning them and putting things in the burn barrel and poking the fire. my neighbors are driving me nuts cutting down all the trees, five palms behind us and 5 big old trees across the street
Hi Debby, I agree with you about FB. I had the same memory about the leaves and posted a graphic showing that. Have a nice trip!
I'm with you on FB drivnig me nuts. I see so few posts from people I follow. It's mostly suggested and sponsored. Then all the AI is crazy too. Plus the political stuff. I do not go on FB to see that
I love caramel anything. I know you love James. I bet you miss him. Hope you are still having fun.
I agree about grandchildren - such a dream! And Facebook...urgggg I too wish it was as it started out, Debby. Thanks for your sweet visit.
Have a safe trip back! I'm so glad you could go.
