HEALTH ISSUES
I started to share this on Wednesday Hodgepodge but changed my my mind. I have been having issues with my lungs for several weeks. I have medications at home that I take but nothing was helping. I ended up going to the ER on Saturday the 8th and spent 10 hours there. Nothing they tried worked for me. No change at all.
I have done a lot of research recently and I truly believed that it was the Dupixent shot I am taking. My shots started on August 27th at the doctors office, then you take one every other week. Sept 10t, 24th, Oct 8th, 22nd and I did not take the shot on the 5th of November. So that's when I decided to go to the ER. I left the house at 6:30am on Saturday the 8th.
They sent me home with some medications and I was feeling better on Sunday but then on Monday I felt the same way again. They did say that the x-ray of my lungs showed possible pneumonia. However I have done a lot of research since I've been home and the Dupixent can show that effect on some peoples lungs. I didn't have it.
I had read earlier, a reason for my concern, was that Dupixent can also cause tight lungs and wheezing which is what I have had for the last several weeks. I had my first shot on August 27th, which I memtionthen earlier, the next one was 2 weeks later on October 8th. Had an appointment with my doctor the 13th and I told her I was having chest tightness and wheezing. She didn't seem that concerned. I had my next shot on October 22nd and was feeling even worse.
I called to see if I could stop my shot but they never called me back. I did however not take the last shot on the 5th.
So since the hospital visit I got in to see the other doctor in the office on Wednesday. He told me to stop the shots. Gave me another steroid shot. (Had one at the hospital) Nothing has changed. I am truly afraid that I will not get back what I had which for me was not great but a whole lot better than what I'm going through now.
So your prayers are welcomed. If this is the outcome I don't know what I am going to do.
Love,
Debby

Oh Debby I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I will add to that 'Prayer for Lung Disease': That the effects of the Dupixent wear off completely and your lungs heal. Even better than they were before you started that medication. That the Lord would restore your lungs totally and completely.
I am so sorry! Yes, prayers, love, and hugs. Thank you for keeping us informed.
I am so sorry that you are having so much trouble. You definitely will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm so sorry Debby for all you are going through and I hope you get some relief once the effects of the Dupixent shot have worn off. You're in my prayers too.
My prayer for you is for the Lord God to help the side effects to move out of your body and leave you where you were before them. Bob has had side effects with 4 drugs in 7 months, bad ones. 3 of them the side effects are gone, the infusion stopped, the rash lingers, but is a lot better and now he is regressing back to where he was with his legs, which means the infusion had helped a little... so sorry the drug did not work foryou
This is so terrible for you, Debby, and I'm so sorry you're going through all this with your lungs. Know I will continue to pray for your healing, my friend. God bless!
Oh Debby I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I sure hope and pray this is just a bump in the road and not a permanent issue. Have you seen a pulmonary physician? 🙏🙏
Oh Debby, I hate what you're having to endure. Lifting bold prayers!
I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I know how much you desire to be well, and this is my prayer for you. That God will intervene and give you the answers and healing you so desire. Thank you for sharing that beautiful prayer.
Hello Debby, I am praying for you, I have been and do want you to be healthy so you can enjoy your family. You have a strong spirit and have been so brave, may you continue to feel our prayers and love.

This is terrible. Isn't that medicine for COPD and it made it worse? That is just awful. I have been praying, and I love the prayer you found.
I am sorry! Prayers and hugs, my friend.
Praying for you Debby.
Praying the prayer you posted. I am so sorry you are going through this. Praying that you will have the right answers from the right doctor and no more adventures at ER !!!
(((hugs)))

Oh my gosh. I'm going back and reading your posts and this horrible lung journey that you are on. I don't know if this will help you so I'll toss it out there. Awhile back I got really sick from Covid, I guess they call it long Covid where for about ten months I was still off.
Anyway, nothing was helping my lungs until I went back to eating salmon. I don't know if it was all in my head or real but I've kept salmon in my diet since. It really helped. Also walnuts and tuna though salmon was the start of it.
I am deeply sorry you are going through this. Love and huggs your way.
