2. Do you like squash? Of the varieties listed, which one's your favorite and how do you like it prepared? Is squash of some sort on your Thanksgiving menu??
I don't mind squash but I rarely have it. I can't really give an answer on them. We do make spaghetti from time to time but we don't make it from scratch.
acorn, butternut, delicata, spaghetti, zucchini, crookneck (yellow squash), patty pan
3. Last time you were 'squashed in' somewhere, or felt squashed?
I'm just feeling squashed now because of my lung issues. I just want my life back. I'm sorry that I mention this all the time. I love you guys. If you didn't read my last post, the Dupixent messed my lungs up. This should never have happened.
4. Have you ever played squash? What about other 'racquet sports' such as racquetball, tennis, pickleball, badminton, table tennis (ping pong)? Are these sports something you enjoy?
I can't ever remember playing squash. I know that I did enjoy badminton and ping pong. Amber and Dylan play ping pong all the time in there garage.
5. Something in today's society or culture that feels like a 'racket' to you? If you don't like that one, tell us about a place you've been recently where there was a lot of 'racket'.
Most likely I would say Tic Toc.

You do have a lovely view and a 3% interest rate would be hard to give up.
Happy birthday to Mark. Hope he enjoyed his day
You have a beautiful view! I hope you start to feel better soon and can enjoy the holidays coming up. Happy birthday to your hubs!
Debby, You do have a lovely view. I always love it when you share it with us.
Happy Birthday to Mark!
Love and prayers,
Carla
The view from your home is exquisite! That alone would make me loathe to move.
I'm hardly athletic, so #4 would be a hard 'no' for me. Lots of 'racket' happening online lately; it's hard to tell what's AI or what's real news.
Happy belated to Mark!
Happy Birthday, Mark! Debby, that view is postcard perfect. I wouldn't want to leave, either. Praying for your healing, sweet friend.
I heard a racket in our back yard last week, a murder of crows descended into the trees with berries and the power lines were full of them all cawing like crazy and a few geese honking added to it. when I go in a restaurant that plays music it is just racket added to the racket of people yakking.
Happy birthday Mark.. agree with Martha on your postcard perfect view.
Your view is a postcard. I would hate to leave it too.
Many things are a racket to me since wearing hearing aids. Sometimes I have to take them out when we are in a restaurant..the banging of dishes, the endless chatter and piped in music drive me nots.
Not fond of squash but will eat it. Not my go to veggie.
As a kid I used to play badminton, not well and I was horrible at tennis. I really am not good at many sports.
I am so thankful for my friends and family and the gifts the Lord has given me.
Happy Birthday to your Mark
Prayers continuing for you dear friend.

3% interest - yowers. And a gorgeous view. Make yourself go out and sit and have a cup of coffee with Mark and tell him happy birthday from us!
Your view is amazing! I wouldn't get much done if I had that to look at all day! I am sorry for all of the health issues you have been going through. I do pray they will find some answers and a way to help you. I know it's no fun not feeling well for so long. Happy Birthday to your hubby Mark! Oh, I used to like to play badmitton. I never could play tennis or volleyball very well, but badmitton wasn't quite so bad. Being a lefty I am awkward at most sports. Have a blessed rest of your week. Praying for you to feel better.
Wow what a gorgeous view! We also refinanced in 2021 at just the right time to get the all time lowest interest rate. Best decision.
I am so sorry about that medication on your lungs. Is it reversible?
Happy Birthday to Mark!
Happy Birthday to Mark. You do have beautiful views, Debby. I'm sorry you feel so bad and squashed. I can't imagine. Hope your celebration on the weekend is wonderful.
I'm so sorry about your lungs, and I'm still praying for you. Is there any chance you can get Merry Maids or the equivalent to come in and clean your house? My Merry Maids charge a ridiculous amount for our apartment, but at this stage of my life it's worth it. In my case it takes the two of them 45 minutes every two weeks, so having them here isn't a big hassle.
Anyway, happy birthday to Mark and much love. And prayers.
Wonderful answers
I don't need to tell you again how much a admire your view. It is simply spectacular and with the snow covering above and fog below, it is a masterpiece. I am so sorry you haven't felt well enough to enjoy it, but maybe just being grateful for it will help "squash" some of your depression. Couldn't resist that word play for the Hodgepodge. I do hope you can begin to feel better as we get closer to the holidays. Take care!
3% is an amazing deal. Would be hard for me to leave that as well. Love your view. I don't know anything about that stuff they had you take but I can feel the pain through the post. I'm so, so, so sorry. I hope you can get back to you ๐งก
