1. Did you make resolutions or set goals for the year we're waving goodbye? How did that work out for you? Will you set any goals for this new year, new season, or new month? Share one or two if you'd like to share.
No, I don't remember making any goals last year.
I just want the New Year to bring me the blessings of good health. This year has been extremely hard. I want Debby back.
The other goal would be to declutter the house. However, I have made this goal for a few years and haven't done it. But I can say that I am definitely ready now.
2. When did you have the most fun this year?
Visiting Amber and Dylan was fun this year. We went there 2 times.
Obviously every time we see James is the very best of times.
3. What's a song or song lyric you'll associate with 2025? Tell us why.
I don't have one. Sorry.
4. Best (or a favorite) bite of something delicious you tasted this year?
I'm sure that there are several things but I have to say it was a steak we had several weeks ago when we went out to dinner with Adam, Gabby and James. It was an awesome restaurant.
5. What do you want to do more of in the new year? Less of?
I'm going to start with less doctor's appointments.
See Amber and Dylan more often and of course spend more time with Adam, Gabby and James. I do want to get a dog but with my health at this point it isn't a good idea.

I can't remember the last time I made a new years resolution. I've never done the goal thing. I don't bother with either because I know I won't keep up with them.
I hope the New Year brings you what you're looking for.
Ditto exactly what Ann says above.. My new year wish for you is better health and maybe a return to bowling. I know how much you miss that... I do not make resolutions, or pick words for the year, I just wait to see what happens next.. Happy New Year, 2026 is HERE.
Every year I make the same resolution . . . to do better. I am only comparing me to myself and just want to be a nicer, kinder me.
Hello Debby, I pray you receive answers regarding your health in 2026!!
Lots of love,
Carla
I do hope your health improves and this year is better than last in that department. Happy new year to you and praying 2026 brings you lots of bright moments.
Oh Debby, I'm praying that you feel better in the coming days. Right there with you on less doctors' appointments. Here's to more great steak dinners and precious moments spent with those we love!
Praying 2026 is better healthwise for you, Debby. It is so good that you have loved ones nearby and that you can see James grow.
I hope you do have better health in 2026 and I'm so sorry your 2025 has been so difficult! I know from experience decluttering is really uplifting and encouraging! We have lived 'minimalish' for four years now and its been a HUGE blessing to us! Yet there's still more to be done!
I look forward to visiting with your blog again in 2026! So nice to visit with you today!
Hi Debby, I hope the new year brings you better health. I hope we can meet up in 2026. Family is the most important thing for sure! Have a blessed New Year!
Nice to visit you today as we end the year. Decluttering is always on my list too. It helped to have started before we moved. I made a list room by room to do...like I didn't put kitchen on my list...I numbered the drawers/cabinets and listed them. Then when I had time I did one or two drawers. That was much less daunting that seeing "kitchen" on my list! We got rid of so much stuff in the move and have more space here and i'm working hard not to fill it up/buy things just because we have space.
Happy, healthy 2026 to you!
I am praying for you and for good health to return to you soon, so that you can really enjoy visiting with your wonderful family and doing the things you enjoy doing. Oh, decluttering...I look around me right now and sigh! Somehow our Christmas stuff has mushroomed this year and I'm not sure how I'll get it all put back away. I may need to remove some of the old stuff and just enjoy the new...but then...well, we'll see what happens when I start packing it back up. I hope you will have a blessed and healthy and happy New Year!!
I would gladly go for less doctor's appointments and I sure hope that you have less of them as well. All of my Christmas decor is packed away. I had it out early due to my husbands health, but I had reached a point where I needed it to be gone. Not the Spirit of Christmas...this remains... But being surrounded with so much stuff was driving this OCD lady nuts. Wishing you a very happy New Years and I pray for Blessings of health and prosperity to come your way.
No resolutions for me. I honestly fail them. I hope you get to see Amber more - wish they would move back or you by them.
Happy New Year! Sandie
I do hope you can get Debby back! Love, hugs, and prayers. ❤️
Less visits to the doctor sounds like a good wish and goal for the year. I'm hoping you get yourself back. Here's to a happy healthy New Year. Cheers, Ivy.
