3. Was a Cabbage Patch Doll a part of your childhood? Or maybe your children's childhood? What's a toy trend from your childhood you remember wanting for your own?
No, it was not, but it was part of our daughter Amber's life.
I would say for me it was probably a Barbie doll, a hula hoop and Silly Putty in the 50's.
4. Something you've spent a lot of time doing lately?
I posted this on Facebook last week. I finally felt well enough to pack up the couple of hundred ornaments on the tree. So the Christmas tree is finally down. Family room is back in order.
5. Somehow it's the last week of January...sum up your month in just three sentences.
NOT MY MONTH (I don't have three sentences)
I've had extreme anxiety.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I won't go into detail about January but I did have some wonderful times with Adam, Gabby and James and also some nice phone calls with Amber daily. She usually calls us when Dylan is sleeping for his night shift at the hospital.

Hi Debby, your tree is beautiful! I hope you have better days ahead! I like the weather we are having. I am going to Disneyland on Friday and it will be 82 degrees!
Well our weather here is snow and cold.
I like cabbage too. My daughter did have a cabbage patch doll.
I'm glad you got the tree down as that's a big job. I hope February brings you lots of love and days where you're feeling good and like yourself again. Take care.
It's so good to hear from you, and also that you seem to be feeling some better. Your tree was so pretty, but I know you were happy to finally get it put away. That's a big job, and I'm glad it's only once a year! Your weather sounds perfect! We are having some really COLD weather here this week in Florida...down to freezing and below freezing every morning, and not warming up that much. But we know this is only temporary and soon it will be back in the 80's. I actually do have a Cabbage Patch doll, but I didn't get her until I was an adult. I may have to do this hodgepodge today... Take care and may God continue to bless you with better days and better health in the weeks and months to come. (((HUGS)))
Hooray for you and being able to pack up all those ornaments. I'm sure that is a good feeling. Sorry that January was a month filled with anxiety. That is hard. What a blessing for kids who keep in touch. Hope the end of January turns better for you.
I recall the Cabbage Patch doll craze, Debby, but I never thought of them as appealing. Also, I didn't play with dolls growing up, just stuffed animals. Glad you felt good enough to finally get your tree and the ornaments put away. It can be stressful even when we're feeling good. Blessings!
Hi Debby,
I have visited California twice, San Diego area, I loved the weather.
Hope your February is better Debby, praying you can get better.

I fry sausage and cabbage sometimes. I had Barbie, my kids had Cabbage Patch. Andy was into Ben Ten.
SO sorry to hear you're experiencing anxiety and haven't enjoyed January. I will pray for you to find some relief from any anxious thoughts. What a pretty xmas tree! I'm glad you had someone to talk with on the phone. That helps! I hope things get better. God bless.
Oh, I loved Silly Putty!
I'm so sorry you're experiencing anxiety. That happens to Tom, too. I think it's hard sometimes for those of us who aren't affected to understand. But we care!
I love your final message, and I hope February is a much better month for you. ❤️
Your tree is gorgeous. I hope February is a wonderful month for you.
I'm so glad you are feeling a bit better and were able to tackle the Christmas tree.
I know you cherish your times with family. That's the best gift ever.

Oh I enjoyed silly putty back when I was a kid. I wonder, is it still around.
Rain has moved on and each day we're looking at clear, sunny and mild weather. Inching up from the 60's to the 70's. I may even start getting the yard cleaned up!
I hope February turns out much better for you, Debby. My prayers continue for you. Much love, Andrea xoxo
