2. Pancakes...are you a fan? Syrup or no syrup? Plain, blueberries, chocolate chips, bananas, or some other add in? Are pancakes on your menu this week?
Yes, but we seldom make them. Yes I like syrup. They would be plain and no they are not on the menu this week.
3. Tell us about a time recently when you felt 'spread too thin'.
Actually that is going on right now. I have about 5 doctor's appointments to schedule and just don't feel like making the calls.
4. What's your favorite jewel or gemstone? In terms of your wardrobe would we find more gem tones, pastels, black and white, or primary colors?
I like sterling silver jewelry. Back in the day my wedding ring was in gold. Diamonds are wonderful but I've liked opals too.
5. What responsibility do you think is hardest about being in charge?
Probably giving people my advice/opinion on what they are doing.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I was disappointed recently but I totally understand it had to happen. Adam and Gabby had to change the plans we had for dinner on Sunday to celebrate Gabby's birthday which was on Valentine's Day. She had a facial that she had a reaction to and had to take antihistamines. She didn't want to go out in public and James ended up going to his cousin's house. (Update, we are going out on Friday to celebrate Gabby's birthday.)
However, we did get a cute picture from Adam. Mark got him started on a lottery scratcher. So when they go to get the money, if he wins, he wants more. So apparently Adam let him buy more. As it turns out he won $115 on a $5 scratcher.

I too, grew up without anything to do with lent, with a Baptist pastor for a dad, so no to that question.
I vote you pick tomorrow and call all those doctors, write them down and check them off, you need to get those appts made, it will take months for them to get here.
I love pancakes, so does Bob, but they were like a once a month until I found a way to eat my oatmeal, so now I make oatmeal pancakes for me, and eat them about 5 days a week.
I grew up Catholic and lent was a big thing in our house. I don't give anything up though and haven't in a very long time. I also don't observe the no meat on Friday that we always followed when I was growing up.
I do like pancake but haven't had them in a very long time.
Cool that James won all that money. I had a bunch of instant tickets at Christmas and Presley enjoyed scratching them
I did not grow up doing anything special during Lent and our churches never really observed it. However, our current church does have an Ash Wednesday service (tonight) and we observe a time of preparation of our hearts and lives during this time prior to Easter. Nothing is forced, like "no meat on Friday" type of thing...it's more of a personal spiritual journey and I do enjoy taking the time to be more attentive to my spiritual life and kind of like "taking stock of myself" to see where I need to make some improvements in my relationship with Christ. Kind of an "annual check up". Oh, I love blueberries in my pancakes, but we don't have them very often...only when I have some fresh blueberries. James is so cute. Which reminds me, our son gave my hubby some lottery tickets for his birthday. We have to check them this morning and see if we are millionaires. LOL. Have a lovely day. I promise to "share" if we are. LOL.
