2. When it comes to travel are you a last minute packer or a lay it all out a week in advance type? Do you struggle to pack light? Share a packing tip that has worked for you.
I try to set things out in advance. Yes, I do struggle to pack light. We mainly pack for our trips to Montana. If I forget something I'm sure I could use something of Amber's.
3. April is National Grilled Cheese Month. Hmmm...who knew it got its own month? Do you like a grilled cheese sandwich? What ingredient do you add to take yours to the next level?
I do love a grilled cheese sandwich although I don't make them often. I would maybe add a tomato if we have one.
4. There's a well known quote that says-
'A ship in the harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are built for." John A. Shedd
Is constant growth necessary or do you think it's more important to prioritize stability and peace in your life?
I think growth can be good but I want stability and peace in my life.
5. Let's wrap this up with a fun spring this or that-
- daffodils or tulips - Tulips
- lemonade or iced tea - Lemonade
- gardening or hiking - Neither
- ladybugs or butterflies - Ladybugs are my favorite but I like butterflies too
- floral patterns or polka dots - I'm thinking floral patterns
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I had a pretty long random thought here but as it turns out my ankle procedure was cancelled until the 29th. It was going to happen today.
However, in the mean time, I'm having an issue with my left leg. I was thinking it was some neuropathy that I experienced last year. The pain has been extreme, bringing me to tears. Medication hasn't helped.
I went to Urgent Care on Monday and they did not think it was neuropathy and sent me for an x-ray. I just can't win. I don't need anymore issues like this. I am beyond frustrated.
You guys need to understand that I am not a person looking for attention. I'm not making this stuff up.

I've done that before with deleting all the blog posts before reading them.
Wade used to do our taxes and after he passed away I took them to H&R block for that first year. Since then I've been doing them myself with turbo tax
I am so sorry about your let pain, and I hope they can figure out what is going on. Could be you are relying more on that leg because of the ankle, and it is putting stress on it someway. That's my thought for what it's worth. Praying it's nothing more serious than that. Praying for your upcoming ankle surgery. I know when we have things hurting or going wrong in our bodies it is very frustrating and it upsets our whole life situation. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you continue to deal with these issues. Praying that you find some answers and feel better soon. Re: taxes. I do ours on TurboTax. Since we retired our taxes are not very complicated, so they are pretty simple to figure out. However, I've always done them for us. The only time we ever got audited was when we had H&R Block do our taxes for us, and they didn't go to the audit interview with us either! So, I just decided I could do them better than they could and we never had anymore issues. Still, not my favorite thing, and I'm thankful we are at an age where it isn't really a big deal anymore.
Hope you feel better and that your ankle surgery will be successful!! (((HUGS)))
I can feel your frustration Debby and I hope the left leg is not anything serious. You're probably using it differently due to the issue with your right ankle so that might play a part. Hoping it's not anything serious and you get your surgery done and relief comes. Take care.
I hear you about not looking for attention but having lots of things going wrong! I used to have a doctor that i'm pretty sure thought I made things up - like i said he USED to be my doctor. Actually the last thing i want is something that brings attention to me - i think you are probably the same way. Hang in there.
Debby, I'm so very sorry you're experiencing this pain. We're all here for you anytime you need to vent -- or simply weep. Hugs!
Hi Friend,
I am sending prayers. I am so sorry to hear that you continue to be in pain.
I wish you could see my PT fella here in Wisconsin, he helped me this winter with the pain I was having in my foot with dry needling. It worked.
Lots of love!
Carla
I hate that you're suffering so, Debby. I'll keep on praying!!!
When your health struggles are constant without good answers, I can understand the frustration. It is hard. I am sorry. That is nice that Mark can do the taxes.
Oh Debby, I know you're in pain. It's hard. About 6 years ago, I went through some orthopedic battles, recoveries from surgery, physical therapy. I felt the same way. It is frustrating. These old bodies of ours are just showing the wear and tear of life. Thankfully we have modern medicine that can help. Always praying for you and hoping you start feeling more like yourself sooner than later.
I'm right there with everyone else in saying how sorry I am that you are in such pain. As Myra said... we are here for you and go ahead and vent or complain... I will continue to pray for you and that the surgery won't be cancelled again. Lets get this done and start to feel better!! (((hugs)))

Hi Debby, I am sorry you’re having leg pain on top of everything else. I can totally relate to having to deal with a health issue on top of another. Constant pain can be frustrating and depressing. I will keep you in my prayers. ❤️🙏❤️
You know I hate what is happening and that I am praying for you girl. Hugs.
Please keep us informed! You are going through so much and blogging is useless unless we can talk about what is going on. More love and prayers. ❤️
Oh no, that is so discouraging. I'm sorry you have this pain you are dealing with Debby. Prayers for you.
